Ugh, I think that issue looks awful. I'm really starting to hate when the comics bring back one-time jokes from the show. They've already screwed up Pieman and Stretch Dude/Clobber Girl...now this?

HOWEVER! There may be hope! I love the fact that JAMES LLOYD is finally doing Futurama stuff again!

I had some trouble saving the Futurama Comics #35 cover from http://www.planetbongocomics.com/Coming_Soon.html

Baloobas, can you please let us know what your site is, so I can save this image? I really like it.

The green buildings are an interesting addition on the front cover (and the lack of stars). Are they perhaps in - behold - 'the internet'?

Awesome. Awesome to the max. Now let's hope that the story'll be awesome too.

Nice to see The New Justice League is back.

Maybe Leela will find a way to use her lust for violence in a way that's good for community service...

If you're trying to copy and paste it or right click -> save image as, etc., I'm pretty sure Tom (baloobas) makes the cover images part of the background, and puts a file called spacer.gif in the actual content area to stop people from stealing them. Pretty ingenious idea, if you ask me.

That is a good idea, but is it really needed? It's not like the site made these covers.

Pretty retarded if you ask me. Trying to "protect" your precious images by obfuscating your layout is a waste of time.

No, if you run a site that displays say, art that you made, it is a good idea, because people can look at your work without being able to take it. But it's pretty much useless in this case.

The images in my "coming soon" section are copy protected and contain a small "Planet Bongo" logo.
As seen above, its not too hard to get around the copy protection and some people then paintbrush out my logo - so why do I bother ?
It's not about protecting my "precious" images as Ratchetbrain says, in fact if anyone would like a super high res copy of any of the images in my "coming soon" section, then they only have to ask.
It's mainly because I was getting fed up posting a new cover only for someone else to take it from my site and then post it on various forums without giving me any credit.
This was also annoying the people who supplied me with the images (in fact they were the ones who suggested adding my logo).
I run my site purely as a small hobby, it costs me money and it'll probably never be finished the way I want it to be BUT it's helped other collectors and its something I enjoy.

Whatever. Being the owner of another Bongo site, I can see exactly where Tom is coming from; it's only a hobby, but it's still quite nice actually knowing there are people using it as a reference, and that other people are actually finding it very useful. Although I'm occupied with WBC a lot of the time, I still visit Planet Bongo regularly because it's a great resource that has successfully filled a huge void in the Simpsons/Futurama web community...which is a hard thing to do.

Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun!  About time, Captain Yesterday, Clobberella, and SuperKing make an apperance in the comics!  And I haven't even got #33 yet!  But I will.

I just got the issue and it was pretty funny.  Like the fact that Ian Boothby is back to work on Futurama comics.

A lot of cool music references in this issue!  I loved the story about the New Justice Team taking down "Son of the Sun"!  It's cool to see Captain Yesterday, Clobberella, and Superking in the comics!  Awesome issue.  I give it 5/5.
