They usually alternate between artists for each issue, like with Simpsons Comics (apart from issues #28 to #32 which were all Kazaleh). I thought the art in #33, while off model sometimes, was very fun. It's a shame they went back to Kazaleh for this one... Oh well, we have James Lloyd to look forward to next issue!

And what the hell is Morbo doing going to speed-dating? His wife will destroy him!

That struck me, too; he's talked about his family on TV, and didn't he and his wife go to some event that the PE crew attended? (There's that scene where his wife's fussing with his tie.) And Leela would surely know that he had a wife and kids, and she's not usually quite that dumb about the men she picks. Unless Morbo played the ol' "I'm leaving her" card...   :)

(Then again, is anything in the comic considered canon?)

It was an okay story, though you'd think that after being dumped in the 20th century, the 31st century, and having been the target of her concerted nagging in both, Fry would learn to stay away from Michelle. (Though this is Fry we're talking about...)  :)

But it was sweet at the end, when he buys a star for Leela. Possibly, this time it'll turn out better...   :D

What makes you think that Morbo's wife is still around? Maybe she kept messing around with that bowtie in 300 Big Boys and he had no choice but to DESTROY her? And that was years ago!

My copy finally turned up today, and was a lot better than I expected.

It was great to see Eric Rogers return; as much as I love Ian Boothby's stories, they seem to go too quickly. Rogers' stories flow well and have lots of discussion from the characters, which I really like.
The art...wow, it was quite hit and miss. There were a lot of off model moments (look at Fry's face in that panel where he's looking at the hologram of Planet Michelle). On the other hand, the full page image of the Michelle clones coming off the ship is my favourite Kazaleh art out of any issue he has done so far.

Did anyone else think it was strange that one of the mutants attended Bender's thing? Aren't they prohibited from visiting the surface?

Got my copy last week!  The speed dating thing was cool and Leela dating Marbo, and Fry being left out was all good.  Fry learning that the star he bought Michelle was a planet and now we see a little vindictive side to Fry where he clones Michelle to spite Leela.

The best part was when Bender had that dating service! When Fry and Michelle went to that planet, Michelle became her usual needy and controlling self.  The Michelle clones were funny too.  I give this issue 4/5.  If I double posted this, I apologize.  My computer was going really slow.
