I'm probably violating 61.43 PEEL rules for posting this, but what the heck.

Believe it or not, I never actually bought any Futurama DVDs. This is due to the fact that I never really owned a DVD player (even though they cost a dime a dozen, I can't think of a lot of movies I'd like to watch over and over and over again to justify a purchase).
Anyways, they recently released an Israeli version of the first season of Futurama which I bought(hebrew subtitles, based on the Polish version I think, as it has a Polish language). Israeli releases of DVDs usually lack all the goodies you can expect from an American release - so I specifically checked the box and it says "special additions: commentaries, deleted scenes". The cases of the DVDs also say that.
Now here is the thing - whenever I start playing it on my laptop's DVD the main menu just shows the episode list and in each episode I can only choose language, scene or to play the episode. I have no idea where are the promised "deleted scenes" or additional content which I was promised (and the reason I decided to go ahead and buy it when I saw it on the shelf).

So, as Futurama DVD owners, do you have any idea where those special scenes may be hidden? is it also the same with your release? is it something that isn't accessible using a Media Player? was I ripped off? should I stop talking and let you?

thanks.

[UPDATE]: Searching around the internet I found some more (Israeli) people who claimed the same. I have contacted the publishing company (a very large firm here in Israel) and will call them as well on Sunday (weekday in Israel). As this is a case of misleading consumers, I may as well contact the board of consumer protection about the case.

It's good to know you'll stick your foot in thier door. Those deleted scenes and commentaries are well worth your money. Hope ya get it sorted out. Sue them if you have to.  ;)
