Sorry if the image is really big. I found it last night. I'm delighted to see some new, official Futurama art now that the series is returning. However, the calendar won't hit the shelves until the end of the year, most likely before the first movie is released.

I wonder why all new headshots of Leela include her cleavage...

I certainly hope this will be all original stuff.  The 2007 calendar was a disappointment.

Wow, that looks like John Delaney (comic artist) art on the cover, great to see Bongo is actually using their staff efficiently now!

I like the cover, more so than the the last one. I REALLY hope it's original art inside but I bet it's not...

Betcha the new calendar has scenes from the new DVD.  The DVD comes out in December - the calendar should be available soon by Sept-Oct.  8 eps have been recorded and the animation is in progress.  the two will feed off each other - people will want the new calendar for the new scenes and the new scenes will make people want the DVD.

I just got it. The theme is movie poster parodies, like "An Xmas Story" and "BotFellas".

I have mine pre-ordered, but until I get it just one question... Is it original art work?...

I got this today and I'm very impressed! Very nice artwork and some really imaginative parodies. After last year I was fearful that we would no longer get original artwork in Futurama calendars again. This is far better than last years calendar, it's been two years since I've been able to look at the back of a new Futurama calendar and gawp at the new Futurama art!...

I think that the most ingenious movie parody whas the Super Fry poster, which was originally in the background in the 2006 calendar. I'm enjoying mine which is staying in it's plastic wrap.

It's out. How did I not know this? I go to Barnes and Noble and I look for it but it's not there. I guess I'll try Borders or try B&N again. Movie poster parodies. That'll be great.

I, of course, stupidly forgot to check and see if these were in stock before I left Comic-Con, so I am still calendarless.

I don't put much hope in B&N or Borders, but they've proven me wrong before.  Most likely I'll have to wait for those ever-convenient calendar kiosks to start popping up in the local mall this November to get my hands on this thing.  :(

One place that never closes, 1BDI:

AMAZON.COM!

Order it through CGEF - that way -mArc- gets a small cut of the profit to continue running his sites.

And I had completely forgotten about Amazon.com... probably because I never buy stuff online.  I guess now's a good time to start.

The only bad thing about the picts Otis took are that you can't really read what the pictures says Which is kinda annoying.

Um... why don't you just buy it? Then you can read it. I posted the picture of the back because that's what you would see in a shop, the back. I won't be posting pictures of the inside because that would breach copyright...

I bought it at the mall yesterday. It was 4$. No way I'm playing full price for a calender. It's ok. I wish it was different scenes from the show rather than the movie poster theme they went with. I do like the superfry one and the bot fellas.

They always do original artwork for the calendars.  The movie poster theme seems really good imo.
