You say- It's out right now. I translate that to- It'll be out next month.

Bongo comics take FOREVER to deliver here. I don't get it. -_-

My translation is: The new comic won't be out until next week!  At least where I live.

  :laff: Haha, sorry about that.

Okay, I read this one last night. It had a good storyline, but it felt to me like it was moving too fast.
Anyway, the artwork was good for a change. Some of the artwork in previous issues were terrible! It also had some pretty funny gags and lines in there, especially from Bender.
It had some pretty good moments in there too. I won't say what happens though, I won't spoil it.

Overall, I give it a B

I got my copy today!  Awesome parody of "Journey to the Center of the Earth"!  Bender was cool as usual in it, and Fry even kicked some butt!  I loved this issue, I liked it so much, I read it twice!  I won't spoil anything myself, so if you haven't got it yet, get it! You will have to see for yourself what happens.   You won't be disapointed!

It is a good issue, the artwork is the best it's been for a long time. I felt that the humour started off very quick-fire but lost momentum. The story parody was decent although the Magmoids were another one of those characters which wouldn't have been good enough for the show. Overall awesome stuff though...

Yeah, you're right there. I usually hate when comics based on a movie or TV show use characters that have no relevence whatsoever in the story. But sometimes it turns out good, but most of the time it's bad.

I stopped reading when I felt the quality dropped off a little a few issues back. My girlfriend picked up this one for me, and I didn't think it was very good. I just can't get a feel for Eric Rogers' writing. I really want to like these newer issues, but they just seem poorly written when compared to issues 13-19.

Plus they have a bunch of ads now, but I guess Bongo needs the comics to turn a profit to justify their existance.

Why don't the comics have a fan-mail page anymore?

Because Bongo hasn't been selling as many books as they would like, so they have begun using paid advertising as of January 2006 (that's why there's random ads in the middle of the stories). They need the money from these ads, so they took out Matt's editorials (which there were very few of anyway) as well as the fan-mail page, so they can fit in more ads, get more money, and bring you your Futurama release every two months or so.

Got it last Friday! Wow, awesome issue, I'm glad Eric Rogers hasn't disappeared into oblivion and been fully taken over by Ian Boothby like all the new Simpsons Comics issues have been.
John Delaney did a rather terrific job with the art -- I like when Andrew Pepoy inks the stories, for some reason Phyllis Novin's inks make it look a little bit too childish (which is a flaw I don't like when she inks Mike Kazaleh stories).
And for some reason, I absolutely love Bender's pose when he's swimming through the lava while singing folk music (I think it's the way he is laying and how one of his hands is randomly up in the air and such).
For me, this would be my second favourite issue, right behind #16.

This is really sad, more people need to buy these Comics. I have always worried that it could end any time through lack of sales. The adverts are annoying and most don't even apply to me as I get the US versions and I'm in England, however if they are keeping the Futurama Comics afloat then I am thankful...

^Same with me, except replace UK with Australia :P

However, Bill Morrison and (Simpsons Comics writer) Jesse McCann have said that as long as any people are willing to buy the books, they will keep making them.
