Did the Volume 1 DVD set get re-released?

I just saw a version of it with Leela's face in a close-up on the front cover, instead of Fry's.  Was this an alternate cover when the set first came out, or is this a neat-looking re-release?

Nope, it's the same.  The front has Bender and Fry, the back has Leela looking at the PE ship manual upside down.  Some of the box sets have either side facing.

It may be an attempt to make people think that it's a different set and buy them by mistake.

Yes, I'm that cynical.

I'm still disappointed that Volume 4 didn't have that cool glow-in-the-dark cover. But hey, I got the episode to complete my collection, and that's all that matters.
