I read that there is an Easter egg in the new Futurama dvd but I have not been able to view it.  What I read was...

"Go to 'Play with intros ON' and hit down to bring up Al Gore's head in a jar and see a photo of the complete Al Gore doing his guest lines for 'Anthology of Interest I'."

Has anyone been able to view it?

I tried but by 'down' I'm not quite sure what button is 'down' since I use my PS2 for a DVD player

I know someone who uses their PS2 for a dvd player.  You would need the dvd remote control made for the PS2.  It has a down button.

But when I press the down button on my player, the highlight goes sideways to "Play with intros OFF".  No Al Gore head.

I'm too poor to buy one (ok, maybe more lazy than anything)  :laff: But I've got a regular DVD player too, so I can always "borrow" it from the living room and hook it up to the small tv in my room.  :)

My mom or dad's always using it and (big suprize here, ok not really; my mom at least) hate Futurama. Well, maybe not hate, but don't care if they see another episode or not...

I'm beginning to think that the Easter egg isn't on the region 1 dvd.  I haven't been able to find it and all the post I have read of people who have found it seem to be from the UK where it appears to have been released first.

Thank you Kryten.  I wasn't sure.  I thought it could qualify for both.  I picked one.

Thanks GreyThinkyWhale.  You are smart.

I guess the Easter egg really is hidden in different ways depending on dvd regions.

What the hell are you talking about? You use the pad buttons on the left side of the controller to navigate. You don't need any special remote to use DVDs on your PS2.

 I use the PS2 for my DVD player, and there is a remote that comes with; you plug the sensor into the controller port. Using the controller is confusing, cause the cross, circle, triangle and square all have different meanings that get confusing unless you memorize them.
