Learning from their site, the BBFC is the British Board of Film Classification. And yes, the lengths of time posted right there seem to be how long each individual episode intro is. All combined, it comes out to be about 3 minutes of intros. In addition, there's also an intro for the disc itself listed that is 1m 36s long, and the HIOR animatic+commentary that is 24m 56s. Doing a quick search on their site shows you this. One thing that caught my eye was the fact that Billy West, John DiMaggio, and Katey Sagal are all listed as being part of each of these, even the disc and episode intros. This probably doesn't mean anything, for all I know they could just repeat the same names for convenience purposes. But if not, it looks like Katey Sagal will be part of the intros too. That would be a first. (but still, I'm doubtful.)

Okay. Not the American one. Gotcha. Anyway, thanks for the research waffy. (Welcome to PEEL. Enjoy Your Stay At Nerd-World.) That's cool to hear that Katey might be doing something for a DVD.

Just let it be released in a timely fashion!
Do these marketing morons really think the product will sell better at the end of the summer, when all the kids are going back to school, and have had an entire summer to spend money?
Geniuses, I tell ya.
Speaking of dummy marketing, has anyone heard of the ridiculous saga involving fiona apple and her new album?
Well, basically, she finished the album in may 2003, and the record co shelved it, and wont even admit it.
The truth as stated above came from the mouth of the album's producer, Jon Brion (also did soundtracks for Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, magnolia, punch drunk love, and I heart Huckabees), who said publicly that this was all true.
of course the dummies didnt think they could market a single, so the best way to make money off of it: NOT SELL IT AT ALL!!
What are these people thinking, all of them?

The cover art must be cool.
And I suspect it, like B_W, to combine elements from the four episodes.

Well, CGEF says in an update: "David X. Cohen tells me that the new US date is now tentatively set to August 23, 2005." It specifically says that that's the US release date... So, is the update no longer correct? And if it IS still correct, when does it come out in Region 2 then? I'm getting really confused.

I'd say the update is wrong. 2 thngs make me trust futufan more than the CGEF update.
1) You can pre-order the "Monster Robot Maniac Fun Collection" at Amazon.co.uk, but not at Amazon.com
2) It's futufan! He work with the bloody thing.

The CGEF update was specifically about region 1/US. Didn't say anything about the UK update because I didn't hear anything from Cohen about it. CGEF isn't the site for speculations (unless marked as such ). Now PEEL... Since the BBFC got the ratings done in early April, I'd say a release before August is likely. Possibly by the end of May. But again, I got no info on the UK release beyond what has already been posted in this thread.

^ That cover looks pretty plain. If that's the real cover, I hope it's good on the inside. Is this DVD going to be realesed in Australia?
