So it's taking a lot longer than I thought to get this thing worked out. I know you lot tend to post your fics as you write but I can't do that, I like to go back and fiddle with bits near the start to make them fit the ending better. Anyway I'm up to 50 pages and... yeah, I'll be done in, lets see, about two weeks from today if all goes well. I think. If I'm not you can have a free shot at me. My wife will supply the ammunition.

If you're that desperate for a fix I have an early draft lurking around the intarwebbing. I wouldn't recommend reading it, though, since it has a lot of false leads written into the notes.

Don't mean to bump old threads.  However, I changed my mind about writing 'Hooking the Line and Sinking It'.  The next fanfic I'll write is called, 'Twlight Oil'.  Walt, Larry, and Inger are on a space train to spread mind control oil all over the universe.  The PE Crew is in hot prusuit to stop them.  Fry and Zoidberg try to stop Mom's sons themselves, however end up being captives instead of heroes.  Then Walt, Larry, and Inger hook up with some alien bikers and tells them they're the heroes and PE is the enemy.

Haven't written a fanfic in almost a year, so, I'll work on this one sometime next week.

Alright, now I’ve got a third idea in development
"Brannigan's last stand" (previous title sucked. this one has more kick)
After a vicious war with the Omicronians Zapp has become increasingly bitter because of constant ridicule from fellow commanders and the general public for incompetence during the war and, well, general insanity. in an attempt to try to try and regain his former glory Zapp starts fighting mostly unprovoked battles with non-DOOP species on the outskirts of the galaxy while Kif tries to work up the courage to stand up to Zapp's increasingly dangerous and delusional decisions.

I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get anything done on this one but I hope to have something out on my other two ideas within the next few weeks. The first one is about an assassin from the 21st century sent to the future for a mysterious hit job who ends up befriending Fry because they come from the same time. I’m also going to try to explore what a Fry-Leela relationship might actually be like. I’ve done my best to avoid fanfic clichés in this second part of the story.

The second one I already described in another thread and I’m too tired to restate it now.

Dunno if anyone knows of this fic or not, I stumbled upon it last night while avoiding studying. Its 3 years old now, so either everyone knows in which case: "GTFO NOOB" is acceptable :P or it might have been buried.

IT IS RATED M WITH REASON: Mostly because of sex reference, I didn't find it so bad but might put some off. They are short and far between, not at all story focus :P but can be a little descriptive. Language and violence too.

Very... adult fanfic (not just sex, in theme) Much more mature then anything Futurama I've read. Epic story, epic length, probably one of the most depressing, and powerful fics ever.  I'm amazed that the author managed to translate the characters up to such a more mature level and still keep them "them". You can feel them growing as it progresses, and yeah you feel it.

Anyway If you are okay with a darker fic, this is the best one you'll find. Top quality writing throughout. All from Amy's perspective. Which I found very nice, does the best treatment of Amy anywhere. Try it!

Of course because I find it, read it, love it: author hasn't posted in 3 years, YAY!
