wow! that's fast! Thanks a lot! I agree with chunks. The Source resolution is 720*576, so upsizing is somehow a waste of diskspace and it makes the pictures appear blurry. Just keep the genuine resolution. oh: 51 north 6 east, you are somewhere in NRW right? I'm 51.26 North 6.45 East Yup, I am. Our cars have DN written on their plate or however you call it. The City is called Düren. It's right in the middle between Aachen and Köln. How did you find such exact numbers indicating your location. I looked in the Diercke Weltatlas, but that's not so precise.. Oh and check your mail.

I know that DVD resolution is only 768x576 with the PAL system, my pics are that big because I have set PowerDVD to grab it in the desktop resolution and didn't change it yet. Here is the site I got these numbers from: International Eclipse Tables. My city's code is "DU".

Ups, you're right 720x576 is the PAL norm. Incidently my PowerDVD said it was 768. Well I sorted that out now. edit: i also know why now it added black pixels left and right to fit it into the 4:3 screen size and not 5:4.

No seriously, so far I've recorded all episodes of the forth season they aired. Last one was Teenage Mutant Leela hurdles.
You record the episodes from TV and somehow send them to your PC to make framegrabs? How does that work ... ? *thinks* Ah, got it: Magic! By the way: Is there a framegrab where Leela jumps, just like Ina Deter does on the cover of her album " Frauen kommen langsam aber gewaltig ..."?

No, not magic, not even wizards . If you've you got a TV-card in your PC and enogh free diskspace, you can capture them directly to harddisk and burn them later on CD/DVD/whatever By the way: Is there a framegrab where Leela jumps, just like Ina Deter does on the cover of her album "Frauen kommen langsam aber gewaltig ..."? Oh, oh, Ina Deter. I remember that I had to interpret her song "Neue Männer braucht das Land", just to say that she used all media available to say what her ideal man should be like. Those were the days back then in 8th class.(7 years ago, I'm old ) Back on topic: I can't remember a scene where Leela jumps that happy looking, but I thought there are some pictures of here when she jumps to kick someones ass. Sadly the only picutures I found aren't that good, maybe chunks has better luck in finding the right scene.

That's probably the closest thing to a happy, jumping Leela we'll see. I would do it myself, but I'm old and forgetful ... and lazy ... and someone borrowed that DVD. Mostly yhe last thing.

@germanfryfan Call me captain now! :P Yeah, I also felt a deep hole in my life until I made this.. Now I feel more manly, I think, I'll light up a smoke! It's more like 100km. And I'm convinced my newly tuned potato cannon will get'ya. I just watched 'Spanish Fry' and took the time to translate the sentence in the opening sequence. It says: Thanks for watching, Futurama slave Army! I led me straight to the brilliant idea of making a new drawing! (I admit, it's not that brilliant as my other coup (the captain thingy)) I want to make something in the style of "The army wants YOU" with Zapp. So I'd need a Zapp Frame in which he points at the viewer or a front view of him. I think I'll have problems designing a hand pointing at the viewer, therefore if someone knows a scene in which this can be found she/he could post it here. Thank You! EDIT: How can I make these smaller and more threatening letters? size=x globviously doesn't work..
