The latest scan from me:

in 1024x768
in 1280x1024

I scanned a CGEF frame grab and made it for Sal in the "Do you like to read" thread.

To be honest: I cheated with the glow effect  It's the orignal glow just blured and pasted into the scan.

Here is the original CGEF grab

Haha, I did that once too, I cheated with his eyes. I just cut the glow out and resized it: http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/5315/coolmeister.gif

I never admitted it though. I just took credit for it and left Mercapto to wonder how I did it and then praise me...

Love the Morris, but the Nibbler gave me night terrors. Don't get me wrong, I like the realistic approach.. Leela is so cute! But that Nibbler.. : haunted eyes :

Aw...I like the Nibbler. I always thought that he was some kind of doggly thing, rather than a monkey (I had this same discussion with FemJesse on deviantArt...)

I've always seen Nibbler as something rodent-y .. ish. Still looks a lot less freaky than I imagined. Totally love the realistic (young) Leela. Great work.

Ta for the comments people. I may even do a picture of Amy from that fan fiction (with the authors permission of course). I may even the the Groening style (although some poses are very difficut to pull off in that style)

Schiesse, you've improved big time !

Your lines are much smoother now than before. Some are still a little edgy though.

All in all: Very good !

I don't mind but I think it is too hard for me to explain it in English, cos I'm using the German PSP version.

Here is the site where I learned it PSP bezier lines tutorial.

it is a bit tricky, though. Mainly you set points where the line should go through, and these points has also information for the direction of this line and how strong the line should be bend.
(You can control this with an arrow going through this point)

Thanks for the link!  :) You're quite right that is rather tricky. You seem to have mastered the technique quickly. Thanks again.  :)

I made my first scan using bezier curves today. Here it is.

Someday, I'll do a whole character, but I'm lazy today.   ;)
EDIT: Remember when I said I'd do a whole character someday? Well now I did!  ;)
