You know the drill; if you don't have enough art for your own thread, put it here.

Wow, you know that's almost exactly the same thread title I was thinking of!  :D

...So there.

No I don't have any art to show just yet, but I will do shortly  :)

To get this started I'll post two scanarts I put in my thread. It sunk rather rapidly, but the remote views went up quite a bit    :)

Eventually I'll get round to scanning entire scenes...

@Shaucker- Was the first one from a particular episode? I think I have seen it somewhere before. Maybe that's just me.

Tom: No, it's not. But it kind of resembles a scene from "Leela's Homeworld", although its really very distinguishably different.

@Coillette: Those are beautifully shaded

@Lee: The first one is really good, the second one looks kind of weird, but the last one is amazing. You should be proud.

@Shaucker: Those are nicely colored. I love the detail in that first one.

And I fixed up a picture that I had posted in my art thread:

It's actually pretty good, tom123, especially the shoes. The only thing really wrong with it is he doesnt have a tie, and the eyes and beginning of head cross.

my first try of "big" scanart:

in 1024x768
in 1280x1024

looks a bit egdy at some regions, but not bad for the first scan bigger than 600 pixels, I think.

@GFF
Definitely not bad. A recommendation: don't use freehand tracing in Photoshop - use bezier curves. It gives a much, much smoother result.

Now, he's and old one of mine. I discovered I hadn't made wallpaper version of it yet:

Never fear, the WPs is in standard 4:3 format (as well as one in 5:4):

800x600
1024x768
1280x1024
1600x1200

Thanks for the recomentation Mercapto, sadly I haven't found the right function for bezier curves in PSP yet. (I know one tool that can do this, but I don't think it's handy).

Maybe I should change to Photoshop.

Also your picture rocks!    :)

*Cough* hmm let's say there are some ways, for example the 30 days tryout   ;)

plus some illegal ways   :rolleyes:, but Peel isn't a place to talk about that

Next try, still made in PSP 8, but I think I figured it out how bezier curves work there. Still not handy to use this tool.

It's a really good pic! and nice composition/stylisation- but why so many layers? I never use more than 10, usually more like 4/5.

alenacat, thanks, yer i have so many layers mainly because each layer i created was for each object that was done, to kinda explain this, i started with a black blackground and i've just been adding all the colour as small objects one by one, which is really the hardest way of going around it lol, anyways thanks again, hopfully paintshop will like someday and i can finsh it  :D

What's wrong with this picture you ask:

Maybe Peter and Homer are a bit too thin  :laff:

But nice that every guy got his favorite beer.  :)

You got it!   ;)  Really the whole idea is three people from different universes in the same bar, but you got it too.
