@Bish: I wouldn't necissarily write this off as a fanfic right away.  Looks more like a historical re-interpretation than anything.  Anyway, for numbers you can't go wrong with three on five.

Inga, Panna and Carrie could be base commanders, and the other 5 could be in the field, or shuffle up who's fighting at any given time, so as to keep things fresh.

Even though I would never really support anything Maoist, aren't you guys forgetting China?

where is Xi-Shuun, The playful, but vindictive, skimpy-Mao uniformed chinese soldier?

Sal: Hmm, nice.

bishie: Question, is it going to be serious or comedic?

ill try to mix it up abit, however im not that comedic a writer, im good at action though, or so ive been told. I'll tell you what, heres what ive done so far

Lunch Time!

The sound of the crackling engine of a British supamarine spitfire and the loud droning, hum of a German Messerschmitt Bf 109 could just be heard in the distance, but was growing closer. The sound was getting unbearable, suddenly a spitfire whizzed low across the bumpy terrain of the El Alamein desert. Staying close to it were 2 Bf 109’s followed closely by another spitfire.
The first spitfire rolled right, and then righting itself, cut up, the pilot pushing the plane to its very limits. The Messerschmitt’s ignored the roll and pulled up gently making sure their target stayed in their sights but not making any rushed mistakes, however they seemed unaware of the second Spitfire.
The second spitfire fired its machine guns and caught the trailing German planes wing, shearing it right off. It fell into a wild spin and the pilot attempted an escape but couldn’t make it before the plane crashed into the ground a few hundred metres away from the British base in a fiery ball.
The sudden disappearance of the Messerschmitt’s wingman seemed to startle the first pilot into level flight, giving her time to look around. As she craned her neck, looking behind her, all she saw was a line of machine gun fire cutting into her tail before she calmly threw back the cabin and jumped out of the hopelessly lost plane.
She pulled her parachute cord and effortlessly floated down towards the ground. Frau Sarah pulled out her Walther P38 and fired, pointlessly, at the British made plane that had shot her down as flew overhead, trying to get what little revenge she could from it. She landed and slipped the parachute pack of her back. She knelt down and retrieved her mp40 submachine gun from her emergency bail pack; it had 5 clips of ammo, her map, and her radio.
She stood, checked her gun was loaded, and looked around. She was not far from the British base, and her map said she was a good walk from where she was to the nearest outpost. But she had to move; her crash would have alerted the British base of her presence nearby.
Emily looked to the southwest with her binoculars, there she was, the plane crash survivor. She was looking around, getting her bearings. Emily pocketed her binoculars and un-shouldered her sniper rifle. She lined up the Germans head in her scope and plinked off 2 shots, however she was too far to hit the target and she threw herself to the ground.
“Hey, darlin’, havin’ trouble with something?” enquired Abbey, the husky voiced American. She had pulled up beside Emily in a Willys Jeep.

Not at your house? I gave her directions...
Anyway, I have an idea for a picture. It could have me now hooked up with Michelle, and have in the background, Bender with a camera, Fry looking outraged, and Leela... um, just watching on, I guess. And I sent you a picture for the previous picture, so you know me. Excuse me being so specific, but I HAVE A VISION.

bish: That was really good!
Speli: As good as done, sketchin' it now.
Pitt: I'm doin' the sketches, I'm doin' the sketches! Ahmm, a skimpy Chinese uniform, lesse..
Shadow: Once I find your picture, sure.

Ok, a few pics today!
I love how this one came out. It makes me laugh.

Leela's long awaited pic!

Filename "Fanfic Gone Wrong", but actually I'd say it's gone right. An axis pic is coming soon!

Frau: My boobs aren't that big?
Carrie: Wow! I never thought the fanfic contest would turn out like this!
Fiorella: Somehow, I did..
Itsuko: Fio-chan's cheating on me~!!
Itsuko, having only gotten up to a beginner status as a Geisha, probably wouldn't wear such an elaborate hairpiece. In fact, I doubt any Geisha would wear something so garish! But on paper it looks very pretty.

The new ones are great, especially TLL's though I'm not sure who they all are  smile I'm also a big fan of geisha. I tried to draw Leela as a geisha once but it went wrong, maybe you should try? I could imagine Leela and Amy having to patron Zapp, pouring the saké surrounded by sakura blossoms.

Those two guys flying Superman-like in the background: on the left side Captain Future (main character of Captain Future, a TV series) and on the right side Perry Rhodan (main character of Perry Rhodan, a German book series with more than 2200 episodes since 1961).
The woman in red is Colonel Kira Nerys (from the TV series ST - Deep Space 9), while the woman in silver is 7 of 9 (TV series ST - Voyager). The lady with the crown is Yayoy, aka. Queen Millenia (from the old anime (?) series Queen Millenia).
There are Leela and me myself as well.

Hang on... I've got it all worked out...

Request one noir-ish picture, with the Futurama gang, and me in trenchcoat and fedora. And suspenders. Because it's awesome. It should be all moody and stuff, because otherwise it just wouldn't be proper noir.

There's a terrible picture of me, because I always have terrible pictures taken of me. Really, though, if a great picture of me was ever taken, your rentina's would burn out from the sheer glory of it.
