2nd Edition: Scan Contest

Welcome to the 2nd edition of the scan contest. Hoping this edition will be better, I post the rules:

Organization

• There will be, maximum 10 contestants that will subscribe to the contest by posting in this thread saying they want to participate. (those who have agreed to participate are the only ones who will)
• There will be a comittee of judges that will elect the framegrab (only the framegrab)

the comittee will be elected the same way used in the election of participants (saying they will participate as judges)
There will be only 3, I repeat, 3 judges.

Some requirements to be judge

• Regular Visitor of FanArt forum, and with that I mean regularity.
• Organized
• Willing to help

Rules

• After the judges had been elected and the contestants are ready, the judges will find a way to communicate themselves and choose a framgrab.

The Framgrab needs to be in an average condition, and not too hard so all of the participants can make it (otherwise it'll happen the same thing that happenned in the last contest)

• The participants will have 5 days to finish the scan after the framgrab has been posted.
• In the 6th day a thread will be open with a poll within it.

The Poll will include the usernames of the contestants.
And, of course, all of the scans.

• AFTER all the scans had been posted in the thread, the people will choose what they consider the best scan.
  (Scans will be posted in 640px480 pixels)
  
  There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
  
  
  Ohh! two more things.
  I will participate.
  
  10 days left to subsciption. After that period has expired no more contestants or judges will join the contest.

Pfft like if I had money to send free PCs equiped with the best software!
I could barely send some candy, but beware! it can be poisoned!
Otherwise you'd have to stay with a 2nd option:
A special autographed scan by Nefnar!

Maybe through time somwone will be friendly enough to send something to the winners, but for now, nah I don't think so.

I'll be in as a contestant. That way I can't screw things up like I did last time. But it was mostly Rage Dump's fault.

Clool! I'll be a judge. I just hope there aren't two freakin' good pics that I have to judge apart. BUT I MUST DO MY DUTY AND PICK ONE IF THAT SUCH EVENT HAPPENS.

So the Judges are:

Me, Xmpel
Mr. Potter
Shadowstar

And we have 10 days to select and then post a framegrab.

I guess you other judges have msn, icq or something like that ?

Or else we will have to do this selecting by mail wich would be weird.

My msn is the same as my mail wich is displayed if you press the -button.

Why not use irc to do the judge meetings?  You could use the java option on cgef to go to #futuramachat and then type something like "/j #futuramascan" to create a room you can all come in (the java would be for those without things like mIRC)....  Hell if you need the room setup permanent, that's no problem

Maybe we need to figure out some judges we can count on, maybe the judges are judges for a certain amount of time so they can encompass multiple contests?
