My fanfic The Fry-trix is back with a sequel. It's up at TLZ right now.

Story:

"Fry and Leela have been together for a year after the events of "The Fry-Trix". The've been keeping a secret for the whole time. When they decide to tell Bender, he decides to tell everyone. Before he could say anything, Leela removes his disk to shut him up and throws it into a pile of other disks. When they realize they have to put it back in order to avoid suspicion, the put in the disk. But they put in the disk that Fry used to get rid of the matrix and the matrix has been reloaded into Benders brain. That's where the fun begins."

I admit the first part i've sent in isn't really good. But the second part I've sent in really makes up for that. Enjoy as it progresses.

You really could have used the existing fanfic announcement thread for this. That said, your first part should always try to capture interest. You failed IMO. Now you have to ask people to read the next part.

Er, let me rephrase that. I mean that instead of people reading cause they want to see what happens next, you have have to generate interest for it in other means. (ie this) You're relying a lot on your first story to continue interest. Admittedly, that will make us read the first part, but there should be something there to generate interest in the new story.

Well, no offense to you spacepilot3000, but there are two facts that need to be considered overall as well. 1) Direct parodies have to be very VERY good to pull of successfully. And 2) The Matrix is, quite frankly, over done to death in regards to parody. That an the novelty is really starting to wear off now. I'm not saying your stories are bad, I haven't read them yet, but they're going to have to be beyond great by a large margin to work, IMHO, not because of writing skill, but because of the path you've chosen to take with it all. Just my two cents.

Kif White-

The Fry-Trix is by no means a parody. Just simply a story loosly based on the films. Or like a crossover story. But it's stupid to make fun of the matrix universe.

Allen- I'll rephrase the story.

I did a Matrix parody, Ironfinger: Reloaded.  It is at FSAC and fanfiction.net.  I'm looking forward to reading your "Fry-Trix" SP3K
