Hey Bofr@

Is there a way to control the order of the characters you put in the ComicMaker? I mean witch one goes on top and with one goes behind the other.

Hay,
i know what you mean, but no, sorry,
untill now you can't control that,
The characters of each group are on one layer,
and till now  the shuffling of those layers does not work good, i'm still working on it,
but i think i will perhapps put a "beta" switching function into the next version.
so thanks and See ya,
BOfr@

PS: What do you think of the above movie?

Very nice Bofr@. The Bender models are quite well made and the walk cycles are pretty good. Just one thing, it does not look like the Benders are walking on the pavemant. Other than that pretty damn cool.

Good job. I downloaded the 6.6 MB version  :( before I saw that you posted that new 1.5 MB video. The video looks good and the music from "Kill Bill Vol. 1" is a plus. Like wu_konguk said, it looks like the Benders are slightly floating or skating instead of walking.

Hay,
yes maybe they are, but best i was able to do,
also i want to give you a sneek peek into production, and so i show you one messed up scene,
it should be like the matrix effect, but the black
bender model accted strange, perhapps you notice, on the legs and arms, but i show it anyway,

Huay,
i have a new pic for ya,
you might not be interrested, or may
think that this is nothing special,
but for someone who knows almost nothing about 3D
i think it's pretty much.

I'm still working on the Street Scenenery,
but i tried to model the Pub in 3D and i think
i am pretty far with it.

Also i am searching on free 3D sites for hovercars
and other futuristic houses and stuff,
if you have seen some, please tell me,

greetings

http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/meshes.asp  should have lots of hovercars and buildings.

Thanks hobojobo,
this site really has much houses, but most don't fit into future futurama stile, and i found no hovervars there  :( but thanks anyways.
I remembered the PEbuilding model on CGEF,
so i've put it into the scene,
and it keeps growing, also i found a new windowpic for the pub which fits better i think,
but have a look:

Bender seems to be in the same place that he is in the the zoomed in pic by O'zorgnax's

What program are you using? I've made a few models of spaceships and hovercars, but they're for 3ds max.

Also, what renderer are you using? Everything seems oddly puffy. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just unique.

huay,
thank ya, and yeah you found bender, now come and get yo cookie :)
and Ozor, thats the original pubname from the show.
and hobojobo:
i do the models like the pub in a free 3d model tool named Anim8tor ( http://www.anim8or.com )
i export the models to .3ds format
and the import in Poser5 where i'm creating the streetscene.
 ;)

woh00,
it's unbelieveable, but i learned some
new things in modeling while i modeled the pub.
And now my O'Zorgnax's Pub is ready,
and i think it looks really good,
on the top of the image you see the new and the
old version of the pub, and down you see the 2D
grabed original pic,

Hay ya,
i can't believe it but i modeled 3D today =),
i started with a simple edged robot,
but i think i did good for the start,
lets see if you can guess who that is supposed to be  ;)
the model is ready but the texturing didn't work,
also i had no good reference pic,
so if you have seen or done pics of this bot
please tell me, also if you have pics of other
robots, because i gonna model more  :)

Wow, fantastic work. It's Lionel Preacherbot, isn't it? Let me see if I can collect some screenshots from him, I'll mail them to you. (ok ? )

Do you want more robots? I can get you these who were in the first three seasons.

Constructive criticism: you may want to actually extrude the doorway of the pub, right now the shadows cast on it make it obvious that it's 2d. Other than that, great work on preacher bot!
