Any ideas for my student project...?

I'm attending an university for applied science in the field of mediatechnology and design and I'm at the start of the 3rd semester now.
We are going to make a project this semester with 2-5 people about a topic of our choice.
It can be anything made with technology we already learned (that includes: web-design, multimedia design, graphic design, 2d animation, photography...).
If anyone has an idea for a futurama related project, maybe I could convince my fellow students to do that (as one is a big futurama fan too, and the others like it).

I'm thankful for every suggestion!

why don't you make a 2d animation movie relating to futurama, that would be cool, you could do a fanfic or so.

Yes, but there's still the problem with the voices.
Many pe(el)ople posted their impressions of Futurama, but I haven't heared a decent one of a major character yet(no offense to you, fellow tryers  ).
Also I wouldn't want to make a 2d animation only....maybe something with more interaction...and I would need a good but short story, but thanks for the suggestion!

Come on fellow PEELers out there, any ideas & dreams related to media stuff you always wanted to do but never had the time, people or skills? (I mean at least I got time & people  )

maybe you could get some of the sounds from original episodes and transfer them onto a short animated story?

You mean the voices?
That wouldn't leave much place for a good story and if we made a animated story the really important part would be a good story.

An interactive 'game' of any place in futurama. I would chose the professors lab, or create new characters in the universe. Say a simulation of new new york street way. You could even have suicide booths. as for non good ideas, you could create an interactive storyboard system. Get as many futuristic places as you can, multiple camera angles on each one, and the charcters (and their various moving parts). Now, put it so you can create a storboard out of these items.
