Yes. FemJ has KISS,(can't wait to see Fry with his tounge stuck out Gene Simmons style...or maybe Leela) but if you want to draw the PE crew as your basic rock crew you can.
I had another thought for an artist who wants to draw this  Fry Proposes to Leela and Leela accepts...I just want to see who can capture the look of unbridled joy on Fry's face just right *Looks in FemJesse's direction, looks to all other peel artists wondering who will accept the Idea*

yes, someone do Tdogs idea and then immediately follow it with a pic of Fry cradling Leela's dead body. i wanna see if someone can capture THAT facial expression.

I have a few suggestions:

How about one of Fry and Leela in their golden years, with either their children or grandkids?

In Missy's fan fic Delicious Surprise, she has a scene with Fry and Leela walking to work through an ash-fall, I don't know, it just seems like that would be a nice scene with the two of them holding hands while trudging through the ash, even as it continues to fall around them.

That's right in my ball park. Shall I?

Though you all may have to wait a little bit, it's Rosh Hashana this weekend, plus I have to do a Mythology project and all this other stuff... but I should finish by Sunday at the latest. It actually wouldn't be as hard as I think, considering I spent all of today pondering a storyline where Leela has died.

So I call Venus's idea. Unless someone else wants to compete?

why would anyone find it offensive? i love the contrast. Fry's biggest fantasy followed immedietly by his biggist fear.

Venus: Just because I have stated in other posts that I am a huge FRY-LEELA SHIPPER fan. The idea of him loosing her is just sad to me. But the concept of the contrasts just struck me as a good idea.
Also something FemJesse said about there not being a one word description for Fry-Leela shipper goodies. How about this, FLipper? What'cha think?
Also loved the Fry singing Leela on drums pic, I have never seen it before.

Just a little nit pick but Fry should have a few tears running down his cheek, and Fry's legs seem a bit long, Other than that superb work Asylum-Fry.  Now If someone would post the coresponding joyous happy marriage acceptance...

i really like Fry's expression there but why is he up on his knees like that? It seems like an awkward posture to be in, wouldn't it look more natural if he was actually sitting on his legs?

OK, seeing as how I have a moderately successful thread (after experimenting and failing) I have decided to post all information about my upcoming Halloween thread here, instead of cluttering up FemJesse's thread, thus leaving her more room for more of her fantastic art pieces.
So far I still only have the three categories as follows:
Halloween costumes: Our same loveable, huggable PE crew dressed for a night of tricks and treats in costumes.
Creature Feature: The PE crew as actual creatures of darkness. Vampires, werewolves, zombies, Frankenstien's monster, ETC, with actions reflecting that change, IE vampires drink blood, zombies eat flesh have bones sticking out and pieces missing, you get the idea.
THE HORROR...THE HORROR: Take a scene from your favorite horror movie and replace the actors with the PE crew doing a similar thing.
OK? I'm open to suggestions for other categories if you can think of any.
I also have a Halloween request to either FemJesse or The Voices, Here's the scene: Fry is a vampire, who has caught Leela, he is standing behind her she is facing toward the viewer. Fry has his teeth already in her neck, a trickle of blood is running down her neck down into her shirt right between her...*cough*...you get that idea. She has her hand on the side of his head, almost as she would a lover instead of a vampire. He has his arms wraped around he mid section in more of a hug than a struggle. The look on her face should be one of ecstasy mixed with a hint of fear. Here's the kicker, Fry is looking toward the viewer as he is drinking his eyes glowing red (or a color of your choice) as if to say "You're next"
Well that's it if either one of you...or both of you, no dibs calling on this one, feel this is a good idea it's you'rs enjoy. Please post it in the Halloween thread. as well as your own.

Great job, Futurama_Hil, someone needs to make the marriage acceptence one. Plus I really liked Wonderbee31's suggestion of seeing Leela and Fry in their golden years surrounded by their kids and grandkids, sounds nice.

A fourth category for the Halloween thread
Famous Horror Movie Posters: Take a famous poster from a horror movie and use the PE crew instead.
An idea that famous Friday the 13th poster where all you see is the sillouete of Jason stabbing a knife through the middle, instead of Jason's sillouete how about Bender's.

For those artists who haven't seen the Evil Dead poster she is refering to. Go to www.allposters.com  and put Evil Dead in the search and you should easily find it along with many other horror movie posters for reference.

For classic art, how bout Leela as Botticelli's 'Venus', or Da Vinci's 'Mona Lisa' (Mona Leela?)

Also, do Leela as (statue) Lady Liberty. 

Bender would do good in a cubist Picasso.

I think all the stuff here's fantastic. Jesse I love the KISS one, though the only thing I really know about KISS is that they are not allowed to use the same font of SS in certain parts of Germany or something like that.
Oh well.

I decided to try the Leela dying one for myself.
My one's a shoddy sketch and utterly OTT... but conincidently ties in quite well with a fan-fic I have in the works...

I don't mind at all, in fact I would love to see it, every idea posted in this thread, by anyone, is for any artist brave enough to attempt it. I just requested Voices or FemJesse to do it because I would give my left one to see their interpritation of it. I've been asked to do a nood picture of Leela. I did, I see if I'll be able to get it up, it's on A3 and its from the front cover of #13 (US). I need to come up with some Halloween work now...
