Not my kind of music, but it seemed well done.  I did like that original riff that sounded kinda flutey.....

Very, very nice, Cheeez.  I sthat you playing the drums? You sound rather good.  What are the other things you used?

Right, Just uploaded a Much Improved Version (it has a bassline! wooooo!)

As for the drums, thats just a loop I made in FruityLoops, and mixed with the rest of the song.

The Flutey riff it taken from one part of the Futurama Game remix of the song.

The new version is at the same address.

Me and a bunch of friends play a rock version of the Futurama theme occasionally, we never bothered recording it though, we've got a really good bass player who makes it (and everything else we play) shine

About the Mp3, Very well made, but not down my alley im afraid.
BTW : What program did you use to make it?

Hey, you kicked it up a notch!

BAM!

Pretty cool.  I think the verb is a little too heavy in that middle section.

I noticed (and LIKED) the subtile chime (tubular bells) riffs.  Real cool.

Just listened to it very nice work very cool
If you ever remix it again how about adding little snippets of the characters voices popping up occasionally? like the couple they did on the show?

Nah, in my opinion that would ruin it. I like it just for the music that I spent quite a while programming in :P

Understandable, then how about a new song a hip hop version. that would give you an excuse to use the voices while experimenting on the sound. just a thought and other than the versions of the shows themes I don't think I've ever heard a hip hop version and again I must say very cool song

Is there the remixed version of the opening anywhere that was done by West and DiMaggio? That was great.

Also, this crazy thing is pretty cool. I liked there part with the cosmic drums better than the light chimey things, but that's my crappy opinion. Very well done. Don't put voices in it. It would ruin it. I like the Futurama one with them only because they were able to adapt the voices to the song.

The link doesn't work but it should work if you type it into your address bar if not check out The leela zone or FSAC they should have a link

Specifically I think.

Thanks Tdog!

Edit: Actually, I was looking for the one where Billy West does the Professor, and DiMaggio does shout outs, but this is good too.

I may get you a MP3 when my main PC starts working again (i.e. tomorrow hopefully)

If you're feeling up to it. It was Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV. I think I'll try my hand at a simple rip.

I hate posting "Me Too", but for Cheeez's theme mix I'll make an exception.  I've listened to a remix or three in the past, and some have made me cringe.  I was all braced up, and didn't need to be.  It's not just acceptable, it's a genuine pleasure to hear.  Well done!

Thanks Everyone. I tried to make it sound at least half-professional and not cheesy and cringe-enducing (like most are).

It's difficult to make stuff that dosn't sound awful, considering the software / hardware I have (FruityLoops, ACID (The Program  ;)) and a Keyboard). Still, im proud of it, glad you lot enjoy it too   :D

Cheez I love all your stuff... The first remix with the subtle bells is so dark and nasty, it makes me feel like I'm being watched while I listen to it.  (Nasty in a very good way apparently)  I was listening to it (on repeat) while I drew and colored the Fry pinup.
To think you're doing it with FRUITYLOOPS AND ACID is mindblowing.  I've used both those programs, and they are quite testy in themselves.

Jesse, i'm Flattered  :D

I'll be honest, I didn't use ACID for anything in that particular song, only FruityLoops.

Again, i'm glad you all like it!
