For those of you who are constantly posting fanart and such, what's your method?  I know that some people draw the image on the computer, color it on the computer, then post it.   While others, draw by hand, scan it, and then color on the computer.  Others draw and color by hand, then scan it.
What is the choice/best method?  And are there any others that I left out?

 I consider myself an artist and would like to post some art as well, but I thought I'd get this input first.  Thanks!

You answered your own question. Those are the main methods. There are others, but I don't think anyone uses them here.

@avatars: i'm doing crappy scans then resizing em.
@thread: this was done before.

I was curious as to who uses what method.  FemJesse? Mercapto?  The Voices?  Many many many others?

FemJesse, I think, uses more than one. She draws by hand and colors by hand and also draws by hand and scans and colors by computer.  This is determined from looking at her pics. So, sorry, FemJesse if i am mistaken.

I almost always draw a rough, or actually fairly detailed sketch, then scan it, then trace and colour it on computer. Most of the time these days I just draw the character themselves and then add everything else in the picture later on computer.
Occasionally I go for a purely pencil drawing, which means I will draw it as detailed as possible then scan and reduce to a more managable size.
With the first technique, sometimes the sketches are very rough and the end result is very, very different, ranging from different expression, different clothes, different surrounding, even different pose in some cases.
And a link from that is that sometimes, very, very occasionally, I draw an image entirely on computer, though that's more difficult since it's difficult to start with scale and what not.
