Winner Takes All - Fan Fic Attempt

I haven't tried doing any writing in this format before.  I got bored while in hospital and enhanced an idea I had, I got someone to scribble a few ideas down and eventually decided to write them up.  I'll add more as time goes on.

(The Professors Laboratory, he's pottering around with one of his many inventions, when Amy, Fry, Leela and Bender walk in).

Bender >> I wonder what the old idiot is working on today, an' why he called us away from work.

Leela >> I don't call relaxing on the couch all day working.

Amy >> Yeah, you should have been loading the ship with Black Matter, and not me and Leela.  (Wiping her hands on his side)

Fry >> We did start to help you, but Leela shouted at us so we left

Bender >> It's always old one eyes fault that we never work.

Leela (Angry) >> That's right always blame someone else for your laziness.

Professor >> Eh, what?  What are you doing here? .. never mind I've an important mission for you to the planet Maribor 6, it's the new prizes for their biannual space race.

Fry (Looking Excited) >> Are we entered?

Leela >> Fry, we're just doing the delivery, but you should be able to see the some of the race.

Fry (Downcast) >> Aww, I've always wanted to be like Mario Andretti.

Professor >> For this delicate mission, you're going to need an Engineer, in case you need to fix something or other.  We don't have one, so I'll go and create one.

Amy (Insulted) >> Gl'uh, I'm an Engineering student at Mars University, why can't I go along?

Leela >> Professor, we'll take Amy with us on this mission, otherwise she'll moan about it for weeks.

Amy >> I would not, well maybe for a week or two.

Professor >> Oh OK, take her then, just don't lose her, as she is important.  Now off you go.  (Waving his hands in the direction of the door).

Fry (still excited) >> A race, if only we could win it

Leela >> For the last time, we're only delivering the prizes, the chances of us seeing the race are minimal.

I like it a lot Sean, it looks like there's a lot of story that could happen here.  Can't wait for the next installment(well, I suppose that I'll wait, but I won't enjoy it. Oh, hells donkeys, I'll enjoy the wait too, what the hey).
