Rise, thread! Rise!Ok, then on to the new stuff: first, a scan of Bender from "A Clone of My Own": "Nooobody knows..."Then this one, I which I especially like, of Fry just after he gets his regular "stupid hands" back in "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings": Fry's expression just makes me so sad. Anyways, as usual, both the first and second scans are available as avatars. EDIT: Ooh, two scans that turned out nice and a TOTPD to boot! Hmm, considering my current skin condition, I think I'll have to make it: TOTPD -- Painful Sunburn Style!

Here's a new scan from "The Honking," an episode I had missed on TV but finally got to see when I picked up the Volume 2 DVD set. It's one of my favorites now: I like it; Leela's got a good, slightly anxious sort of expression, just like she does in the scene from the episode (right after Fry and Leela part ways after bolting Bender to the wall, with the full moon in the background). As usual with me, the scan is also an avatar, just as all my other scans have also been made into avatars.

That Jedi Amy is pretty cool Zed 85. For most of the scans I do now, I use Mircosoftpaint (MSpaint) I haven't really explored Paint Shop Pro that much, other than resizeing my images to scan. I have psp4, so I see if I could come up with a scan there. Haaaaaaaaa! I forgot to add this. Edna. -----------------------

Yarn people are truly superior to the humans. They're probably really good at tetherball. Sew do you see my point? Alright, maybe knot. This is the lamest post in this THREAD. (Crap I'd better stop this now) I like the yarn person a lot. Is it hard to do colored lines in scans (the yarn, leelas lipliner, etc..)? Edit: Just found this on DA. Harry Potter with turrets syndrome... http://www.deviantart.com/view/2343143/

Thanks, and to answer your question, not really. There's probably and easier way, but what I do is: 1. Draw scan normally, with all black lines in Illustrator 2. Open Photoshop and use the eyedropper on the original framegrab to retrieve the necessary RBG values for the colored lines/closed shapes. 3. Change the outline color on colored lines and fill color on closed figures accordingly and export to Photoshop. 4. Open file in Photoshop, create new layer beneath line drawing, use pencil tool to completely outline each section with its appropriate color in the lower layer and use paintbucket to fill each section. I do that until each section is colored, then resize and "save for web" as a .gif file, upload it to my hosting space, and post the image. There you have it, my whole process. PS - Don't leave PEEL. Some people are just jerks.
