What If Possibility for Farnsworth Parabox.

Hello everyone. My names Daniel Walkinshaw.
I'm new here. I've been a fan of The Simpsons for over 10 years and became an avid fan of Futurama too. I can't understand why it has taken me so long to join here. 
I come with a request and a sort of debate regarding the Farnsworth Parabox.
I recently reviewed it (my first ever review at GotFuturama.com) and I pointed out the following:

"What if things had gone differently? I wonder if the writers had a conundrum with what direction to go in with this plot? Am I the only one who thinks that Fry, through sheer hatred and envy, could have resorted to impersonating the alternate Universe's Fry? I could imagine he'd knock him out, blank his memory (dye their hair) and switch places! Can you imagine how that'd gone??  "

What do you guys think? Would that have been a better direction? A more intriguing and captivating storyline?
I just KNOW it' make great Fanfiction material.     Anyone up for trying it? I know how popular Futurama Fanfiction is! I've spent a good few years writing and reading Simpsons fanfiction, I know what fans are capable of.

While it does sound interesting, I don't think Fry would go that far though.

I think Fry-1 wasn't really different from Fry-A. The only difference was that he had managed to marry Leela. Still, good luck with the fanfic.

I could try myself. But I'd be crap at it. It would be my first Futurama fanfic.

I'd like to see what some of the proffessionals could come up with.
