Why do some people have avatars that do not pertain to Futurama?  Isn't this a Futurama forum?  I don't mean to offend anyone and don't really want you to change them, I just want to know who had the Idea to have cross changing avatars?  By the way I love the avatars.

By the way can you make one of Richard Nixon as the giant robot.  You know the one at the end of the Polls episode.  Where he is destroying the White House.  That is soooo funny.

if you are making an avatar it should be 64pixels X 64 and a transparent background.  If you have trouble with getting a transparent background just don't worry about it, mArc could always use some extra work.  then you email it to mArc (his email is around the top somewhere...)  then he will set it up for you and under your profile changing options it will list a "custom" avatar for you. then you pick it and you're good

Some are avatars of themselves - VelourFog's, for instance.  Some are just plain old cool - mine for instance (I still love it, Velour!)

The general rule is that you have to have a Futurama-y avatar, or a Groening-esque or some other version of yourself (ala me)
Nixorbo's is technically a Simpsons character but we are evil geniuses we crafted a head-in-a-jar version 
also if you sleep with mArc you can have whatever avatar you want (ala FF)
