I can't wait to read it. I really like the first one, but the girl defrostee still comes off as rather slutty to me.\

Edit: I refuse to dance.

Let's hope it's not a cat-astrophe, then again it's Kryten fic so it won't be.

As Allen and Venus know, I've started on No Compromises Part II - 6 pages in already and it's still growing :D

I've got another solo fic in the back of my mind called "Marriage Made In Hell", more details as I flash the idea out first.

Catastrophe was awesome! Although as a cat owner i was pretty much guaranteed to like it. I just hope part two comes as quickly as part one!

hmmmmm.....interesting.....

also, i helped edit longest journey home part two, and i say it is a very good fic worth while to read. i believe fansworth38 listed me as Gregoriev (my other alias, remember him from a while back?)

anyway, great fic, read it when you see it.

I've been working on chapter 2 of NMFAG for a while, and have had a lot of great ideas, but I've been having a little trouble with it. It doesn't seem to flow for me like the last few chaps., and I'm unsure how to proceed, after having wrote my first 5 pages. I'm considering maybe having it be a McChapter 2, and going from there, but I'm not sure. Since the person on PEEL that normally reviews and edits my fan-fics is on vacation, could I get someone to volunteer to take a look at my opening part, and let me know if they think I'm on the right track, or should I start over in another direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I've got a script, it's three acts, 24 pages long (22 minutes of airtime + 2 editable minutes of free animation per the audio commentary from season one). It's in script format. It doesn't have a major death or the love of Fry and Leela. It's mostly simple situation comedy, like Futurama usually is. With all of the grand universes I've been reading about, I'm beginning to wonder if mine will fly with other fans...

Anyway, when I'm ready to let it loose in about a week, what's the best way to do so? I don't have my own web site to link to, so what's the best thing to do to make sure it gets out there and that as many people can enjoy it as possible?

BTW, the script is titled "All Rodents Lead To Home." It will answer an age-old Futurama sight gag.

Well this is not usually what i do but i am actually doing a Fanfic! well a little synopsis

A HALOWEEN NIGHT OF TERROR!(working title)

There is no Haloween in the year 3K but fry is trying to bring it back. would that be a good idea in the planet Hitchcok 13?

i may need help if anyone has time, i may finish it on the way back to Mexico

I'm in a dilemma, whether to release NC Part 2 in stages or the whole kit and kaboodle at once which if anything like Part 1, could 40 odd pages. Any constructive suggestions on best way forward, please.

FWIW, were it me, I'd release it all at once.

Kryten, Catastrophe is fun! I want to see the rest. Did you base it on The Fly?

I want a Bendersadilla.

Due to personal circumstances, TLJH is going into stasis for a while. Apologies and thanks to everyone who has shown an interest: I’ll try and get back to it as soon as events allow. Keep up the good work guys and gals!

I've decided to write a "new" solo fanfic, so please keep your eyes peeled for it ;) I say "new" because it's sort of new and it sort of isn't. Anyway it will be along soon.

I thought I'd ask this question, my fic will likely be 200 A4 pages long, or more!
So what I'm asking is: how would you prefer to read it? Currently it has no chapters (I follow Terry Pratchett's example - chapters now are almost completely alien to me) but would you prefer it cut up into segments or just read it all the way through?
Well hopefully it will be done soon. Currently I keep shooting myself in the foot by deciding to add whole new plot lines. Right now I'm trying to add a barely relevant story line of some children's ghosts that roam the Ural mountains (or Gruzoviks as they are called in my fic) crying at the sign of major conflict - it'll get explained later, if I keep it that is.
I personally think my story is about 82% done, after that, various lines need to be translated into Russian and several points "beta tested" as it were. Then, done! :D

i'd read it straight through, but since it's 200 pages most everyone else will want installments.

I wouldn't hope for it to take more than a week to finish. Part 1 has been submitted and I'd like to have it all finished in about a week.

Khwell, um, I was talking with Teral and one of the things we both agreed is that we disliked serial fan-fics - the other thing is that I've re-written entire sections of the earlier parts, months after I first wrote them. I want the story to be absolutely perfected before I release any of it - though I could always release a Beta version I suppose? :)

Hmm, what I've done is converted it into "Acts" with sub-chapters. So I might release it in Acts, and have Chapters to break up the length of the pages.
Act 1 is technically complete, though I may well revisit a few places here and there. Act 2 is fully written but needs to be checked and translated. I really wouldn't like to do a version 0.9.9 if you know what I mean though.

ok, i was reading through the first handful of pages and i refound these discriptions of fics that i was especially interested in, and i wanted to know whether any of them where still being worked on? Oh and Kryten, are you still going to write "but what i really want to do is direct?"
