Good work.

Same as Hawk, the bottom one looks best.

Keep your lines thin, and try to draw them a little smoother.

Yeah, the pic at the bottom is really good, the others are good too, pity about the thick lines.

I was in the middle of doing this one, when my friend Chris told me about the line drawing tool on PSP7 and showed me how it worked, so the first is a mix of both ways, the second is done using Chris's method.

Thanks for all the nice feedback   big grin

I found a tutorial that basically told me how to do what is called Scans, so yes I suppose it is tracing.  I have seen it called cleaning up a framegrab.

You might try making them bigger (about 3 to 5 times)then draw over them, and then afterwards shrinking them back.  It'll give you smoother lines, I suggest using Iview.  Real good work, and I did put those pics up at SSF.  I like the Amy pic!

Thanks Nick for posting them on SSF, what the heck is Iview, I did a search and downloaded a .sit file, so I guess this isn't the package you meant.

Iview? could that be Irfan View? That 's all I know of it: the name. I don't know what it does.

I saw IView on this thread as it intrigued me as well, so I e-mail Nick - here's his response.

"It's called Irfanview, and I think I got it off
cnet...
I use it all the time, it's real good for resizeing
stuff. Some college student made it or something, I
think...."

Thought you might have e-mailed him, or maybe you have and he's too lazy (damn -  mean busy) to respond.

Neat new art, FSACwill get your stuff added as soon as Jamie can, his college work is very taking apparently.

IrfanView is a free-ware program. Can be used as image viewer and manipulator. Drips can tell you more, as he constantly recomend it.

Personally I still prefer the Flash5/PSP7 combo for making scans.

I don't have one at the moment, as I'm new to fan art, I'm trying to get those better first, then I'll think about doing a site, once I learn how to do that as well.

*BOOM* - yeah, after being guided through the process via e-mail by Paul who apparently managed to get Impossible to help him.   You can have that Fry pic for The Fry Hole if you want.

Thanks. Just one thing (which i've mentioned in e-mails) is that some of your pictures are large. Try and keep them below 800x600 for those with that resolution (not me).
