The way to do pictures is:
Get a free webhost, and upload a picture to it. The problem is you need a host that will allow what's called 'hotlinking'. Try any webspace that came with your ISP.
Then post this with the bold fields filled in to what you have:
[IMG]http://www.username.webhost.com/picture.gif[/IMG]

Yeah, the pic isn't showing, are you sure you uploaded it? If so, where to? I think you'd need that site's address, followed by "/frypic.___" The underscore would be what file extension followed the pic, in other words what format you saved it as. It ould be .gif, .jpg, or even .bmp. However, .bmp is too big really for the internet. That most probably didnt make much sense.
