Dude this is the voices thread not a general art gallery. So I'd delete the link before The voices comes round your house and hurts you.

Awesome work on both pics, TV. The top one has to be one of the best pieces you've ever shown us (which is saying a lot) - the detail and shading are just amazing, and Leela's expression really conveys her emotions. The second pic was also very well drawn, and made me laugh for some reason, even though there's nothing about it that I find funny. (Maybe because I know how it feels.)

Oh, and Kazz, nice work, but please post it in the general art thread rather than a thread dedicated to a specific artist.

I did this on A3, for the extra detail but it was a bugger to scan. Took a while too.

She looks like a Bond girl. Excellent work.
Is this the "biggest" piece of art you made so far?

ZJ: For Futurama art yes, for college work not even close, most of that is on A1 or canvas

Nice work Voices. I notice you also put stripes in her hair. Are those stipes supposed to be like colored highlights?

Sexy assasin, indeed:    Awesome picture!

Yeah, there is a Bond like quality to her, but I'm also reminded of the tv show "Nikita". Come to think of it, if Nikita had looked like this, I might have been interested in the show. In The many shadows in the picture give the impression she's waiting behind a door or wall for some unfortunate schmoe.

This is completely from a layman's POW, but I really like your use of black shadows in the recent batch of pictures.

I love your line quality.  Your crosshatching always gets me.

I would think that scanning an A3 would be a pain... I've done THAT before...

that's how i like it: coming home from and seeing pictures like the one above. this is what i call a great welcome (and i know it wasn't directed at me in any way, but that doesn't matter).
awesome pic, i like that style with the strong contrasts and the shading a lot.

It's the paper size. A4 is standard letter/printer paper size, A3 is twice the A4 size, A2 is twice A3 and A1 is twice A2 (a fairly large piece of paper.  ;)).

At least, thats what A3 means to me. It might be different for an artist.  :p

As I recall the system starts with A0 being one squaremeter in area, with each progressing size being exactly half of the previous (cutting the large side in half).

If you don't know how big 1 squaremeter is, write your congressman and demand your backwater country joins the civilised world and starts using metrics.  :p

Voices> i have re-requested authorization to add u to my ICQ, but it said u were already on my list.  strange cuz u're only on the 'waiting for authorization' part of my list
i'm somewhat reluctant to drop my email address in a public forum, so i would really appreciate it if maybe you could add me to your icq list, no authorization necessary here!
I really want that pic!  :)

I did have an Amy 'superhero' pic today but i messed up with the ink about half way through, so here a picture i did ages ago for my sister. Also it's my 18th birthday tomorrow (8/08), which means I'm "going out on the piss"
