The "no outlines," colored-layers style reminds me of an infintely more refined "South Park" sort of look. It almost looks like layers of paper arranged to farm the picture.

In fact, it strongly reminiscent of one of my favorite webcomics, ScaryGoRound, which uses a similar (although more simplified) art style.

For those of you who prefer more comic styled drawings rather than my previous piece, like me, this is for you.

I'm thinking of doing a series of superhero pics, I've already done a fry one, I might do another though. And here's the Leela one.

Also, I'm not asking for people to come up with idea's I can do that myself.

I really like that one, it's so neat  You can 'feel' the action of the picture if you get my drift. I like the superheroes idea as well, it could go a long way  :)

I already asked this ages ago, but what pens are you using? The line work is very neat  :)

I stood on my head to look at that (thank you Jibby)  It's really good and I like the pose.  I don't think I've ever seen a character pose like that before.

Well, It depends on what kind of look I'm trying to get, for simple line art with no kind of shading I usually use a 0.5 draw liner because their much easier to handle, unless there's more detailed parts then I use a G-Pen which works great. On the above image I used  draw-liners and a G-pen (for the thinner smaller parts) G-Pens are hard to use so I wouldn't suggest buying one until you can handle draw-liners okay, I usually mess up with them because you have to dip it in the ink, I end up with a drop on it somewhere or a smear because they take a while to dry. Their also quite hard to handle and you have to really take your time with each line other wise it becomes all wobbly.

The fact you can do that with a pen is amazing. I don't see any smeer marks or anything!! GJ.

Very cool indeed. Great job, TV. The fact that you're using ink to do such a great and clean job, makes it all the more impressive.

I like the position of her legs (no, not that way, you perverts). It makes it look like she's doing a handstand while shooting and use the legs to balance herself, rather than just doing a summersault/flip/something.

Another picture, not Futurama though... another eye one. It suddenly occurred to me that I should be practising for Art college in September, I'm going to try and get some life drawing in here and there seeing as I now have nothing to all day. you might even see a self portrait.

It looks kinda sketchy and it's unfinished (the eye brow and most of the shading) But I wanted to keep it light.

And thanks for all the replies, as usual.

by the way, what exactly is a shipper?

"Shipper" is short for 'relationship-er': Those sick and twisted people who like the romantic/emotional/whatever interactions between one or anither characters.
In Futurama this usually involves Fry & Leela, or to much lesser degree, Amy & Kif. I'm sure there are others, but these are the two that spring to mind.
Does this answer your question?

Sorry just had to belt that.  Its an awesome word.  I love that sienna sketch.  I always like how you draw the fingers more jointed.  I thought you weren't a shipper...  =P
Too tempting?  Or is it for me? *takes the file and runs off with it*

Yet more amazing work, TV. I love how detailed that eye is, and the image of Fry and Leela is really great. I love the shading and the "sketchiness", and the red color gives it that special atmosphere. Simply beautiful.

Nope, not for about 6 years.

If anyones interested the title of the pic comes from a radiohead song which I was listening to at the time. Get it here (just scroll down to the song titled 'True Love Waits')
