Oh well...

Fratelli d'Italia,
l'Italia s'e' desta,
dell'elmo di Scipio
s'e cinta la testa.
Dov'e la vittoria?
Le porga la chioma,

(yes i said waisting, not (only) cause i think anime sucks but because every guyfriend i have can draw anime even if they can draw nothing else)She was in the running to be voted most artistic senior year but she lost out to another girl that probably only had half the talent but did actually draw in different styles. She was so mad about that, but hey it was her own fault.

Yes, I agree. She should have been bound and beaten until she drew what Venus wanted her to draw...

Wha?! I love anime, and I draw it quite often as well. Does that mean I'm wasting my talents? Well actualy I probly am, but not becuase I'm drawing anime. Mostly becuase I post it online for people to view for free!   :p  LOL!

I can do other styles.. In fact I exel at the Fantasy style you see on AD&D books, and the like. But I seriously think Anime is a viable artistic talent, and mostly I enjoy drawing in that style. And when it gets right down to it: You gotta do what you love.

Hell no! If I followed that motto I might have a job!

Hey... waaaait a minute, maybe you have something there!
Lol

Nah, I ment what I said. If you enjoy drawing in a particular style, draw that way and to hell with what everyone else thinks! so there!  :p  Heh heh...

This is one of those follow your pencile things, or pen or other drawing insturment. Screw what other people say if it makes you happy to draw in the style you do then screw the other people. I like to draw because I like to not because some one told me to.
Viva la revalation
FYI I like anime too.

It's a question of how Anime is used for me. I like Anime, but some (haha) of the shows that use it are tedious and annoying. It's more down to the show's makers rather than the cartoon style. Pokémon would be just as annoying if drawn in nearly any type of form.

But this is slightly drifting from the topic...but then I think we forgot that about a week ago...

im not saying anime isn't a valid art form im just saying that if everyone and their dog can draw anime then you really can't wave around anime drawings to prove your artisitc ability

What do you mean? The background?

At first, I thought the background was from a Chuck-e-Cheese's.

And drawing anime is not a wasted talent. There are various styles within it, that's true, but it's all based on who drew them.

Look again at the picture background, that's the Rock-afire explosion on stage and it's from ShowBiz Pizza (this photo's from a Looney Bird's)

I guess I was right, partially. I remembered in the 80's before they had Chuck-e-Cheese's it was Showbiz Pizza. Chucky the rat was still around.
