Anyway, I think your drawings are good for starting out. One thing I would work on is maybe mouth shape and body structure, but besides that I think you've got a lovely start!

First of all, I highly doubt Coldy ever said that. Second of all, this guys done nothing to hurt you and at least this guys making OT threads and not spamming PEEL with threads such as "things are quite in this forum."

Erm...folks:

Stum's post was just trolling. Meant to cause trouble, bringing negativity to Fry-Azel's thread, making it more unpleasant to read (which is usually the motive behind such actions).

It'd be a pity should that thread derail into "Let's just discuss Stum's misbehaviour", and ignoring the art. It gets especially unfortunate when done in a new members "Premiere" thread in the fanart section. The outside impression will be "Good grief, where did I land now".

@Fry-Azel>Sorry that your premiere here was disturbed by such a post.
Anyway, about your pictures:

- The Fry/Leela pic shows a good gripe for the characters proportions. Leela's hairstyle goes a tad the direction of a Peek-a-boo style, which is imhO quite fitting for that character. When making progress and getting closer to Groening style, you might eventually contemplate to keep that element, as "personal signature".
- It seems you have some "intuitive" understanding for the characters faces and bodys. The only thing in the pic that does look a little off are Leela's hands (hands are always difficult). You might consider use "3d help sketches" (e.g. a rectangle for the back of the hand, cylindrical shapes for the fingers, etc...). Most artists acutally do not like drawing hands too much, for they are usually a big pain in the BEEEEP...

Anyway:

Except the punch-line came two hours later and only after someone called you out on it elsewhere when you acted all mock-horrified at me for saying something similar (but not really the same at all).

Pack it in, stum. I really think it's time you moved on. You've caused so much unnecessary drama here and you are SO hated, why hang around wrecking everybody's good times? Just go.

Her hair is much better in the first one - more natural-looking. I don't think that the bands of highlighting help any. They make it somehow look artificial and cheap (especially the second one, where the highlights are pink). Stick to the style of your first Leela pic for hair.

Or don't, if you don't want to. I'm not in charge of your art. It's a subjective observation, and a suggestion you're free to ignore if you wish.
