How I Met Your Mother and Dr Horrible's Sing-along Blog are both entertaining. But I always remember in the back of my mind that Neil Patrick Harris doesn't actually have any sexual attraction to the women his character is chasing after, and it kind of ruins it for me. It's completely fabricated.

Of course, I don't think Sean Connery is actually an escaped convict with a heart of gold or Mark Hamill is really a magical spaceman with a laser sword, so maybe I'm not being fair. But those things are relatively unrealistic to begin with. Basic attraction isn't some far-fetched thing that you should have to suspend disbelief to accept.
