The Futurama cast picture 2.0 (NOW COMPLETE!)

So, some of you may be familiar with this amazing image that was to feature every character of Futurama, which for unknown reasons, was never completed and the creator vanished without a trace. I've taken it upon myself to do my own version of this, minus the disappearing part. So anyway, here's the current section:

As you can probably tell, it's not even close to finished (It's only got one of the primary characters in the at the moment!), but I'm making decent progress each day.

I heartily approve of this effort, and hope that you manage to get to completion. An A0 sized poster would be neat, if you can find somebody to print it (and manage to sell them on eBay without being sued).

I'm impressed. How will you future-proof it though? If you complete it and upcoming seasons introduce more characters, seems like you'd end up with all the new ones relegated to the edges.

I've got each character in a different layer, so if I feel that one category of characters are too grouped together I can shuffle them around a bit.

The image has been updated with Professor Farnsworth, Inez Wong, and many others.

I also changed the image host to Flickr. The quality has improved at the expense of that nice, transparent background that was in the first version. Oh well.

We can all survive with the white background, Unreal. As it stands you're at least about halfway to the point where Kif White stopped. Maybe. Keep up the great work!

I've just counted 230 characters. The list I've made (which also determines the order they're placed in) currently has 770 characters on it, and since I'm constantly adding new characters to the list as I think of them, the image should be at least four times its current size once it's done.

Absolutely mind-blowing to imagine there'll be so many characters. I gotta tell ya, you're already more dedicated than I am. I probably would've tossed this project aside already.

Alright, it's been updated again. Morbo, Fishy Joe, Sparky the invisible Elf, and a whole heap of others have joined the crowd.

At this point, The image will likely expand to the right.

That's amazing, I only saw one thing though.

Fry has no eyes! Is there a episode that I missed when Fry doesn't have any eyes, I know he misses his 'human horn'.

EDIT: Neither does Hermes, just noticed.

Those are the versions of Fry and Hermes who appear in Universe 25 in The Farnsworth Parabox (Leela is also eyeless there). The regular versions of those characters will make it eventually.

Great work! I found MG :-)  The farnsworth parabox was a great episode.  Damn that's a lot of characters the ugly giant, robot leele, human mask on robot, walking fish suit, lmao... are you going to give the centipede his body? How about his face blur    what is the blue sky by pacman? Will u do the one eyed tentacle planet thing?

I don't know if anybody's picked up on this yet, but I'm trying to update it at least once per month. And due to being busy making the graphics for the 2012 PEELies, January's update is a smallish one.

Let's welcome Pazuzu, Larry, Bubblegum, and whole lot of others to the crowd! And that giant sloth is more giant than I remember it being. 

And I've noticed that flickr is slowly making my pictures smaller. Does anyone know of a more reliable image host?

Behold! The image has been updated again.

There's a few more characters (including Amy, Abner Doubledeal and Morgan Proctor), but most of the changes have been improvements of the existing ones. (I'm in the process of going through and de-blurring them, so you may notice that the bottom half is sharper than the top half).

And I'm currently on 466 layers, so that means I'm almost halfway through!
