EDIT: Your going to have to download it, to watch it. (As it's been taking of youtube by FOX)

EDIT: This isn't really meant to be taken seriously Ok, it seems that people are taking this seriously. So... take it seriously. (I made this when I was really bored).

Why not take it serious? It's actually quite good.
The music and the scenes dynamics go along really well.
A few of my favorites:

- The quite sound with Leela eating the space honey with that drowsy movements.
- The louder/stronger rythm setting in, with the Bees launching.
- The timing how the chorus went with the Bee mass launch/chase on 0.53

The ending was a bit of a surprise, I expected Leela to wake up in hospital.

Thanks, but it's still not complete yet. This is just a preview of what to come. But like you said, I did plan to make it end so Leela wake's up in the hospital.

Thank you for the nice feedback. :)

I took it seriously, and it's a good "AMV" as the YouTubers like calling these types of smash-ups. I've watched many, and a lot of them suck. You have taken the time to actually sit down and find scenes that work for the song and anyone who does that gets my praise. Keep up the solid editing work, lauren!

Thank you. I really appreciate the positive feedback i'm getting off everybody. On Peel and on youtube it's self. I'll try and finish the video ASAP. The only problem is, i'm running out of scenes that fit with the music. So i'm having to use the official music video along with the futurama scenes.

You could always cheat and use other clips of Futurama in short bursts... It'd be preferable to using OMV stuff I'd think. I'd say any clip with Fry and Leela interacting pre-renewal would be game.

I've finished the full video, it's saving to my computer as I type this. I'll try and get the link posted shortly. The only problem is that near the end it doesn't really look very good.

EDIT: Sorry if you live in any of these countries: (It seems to have blocked the video)
Germany,
Saint Pierre and Miquelon,
United States Minor Outlying Islands

Edit: What episode would you like to see me do next? (Including season 7).

So, I can finally comment on your video:)

Again. my usual "things you should keep" and "things you should change" two parter.

First:

You really have a good hand to find the fitting scenes for the fitting music. What impressed me most is how you went for both levels:
Music/Rythm AND Sung Words.
e.g. Leela floatin in space: When the word "see" is heard, Leela looks at the coffin.
At the words "open doors", she opens them.
Or Leela opening her eye to "wake up".
Or the silence when Fry flied into the Bee hive, and the loud sound
when the Bee horde follows.
Etc, etc, etc...

Your timing is really great. Like a single note being the launch signal for a certain event.

Now for the "Things you might chance":

I must admit I am not too fond of the original music videos life action sequence.
Not because it features real scenes. Most music videos take turns by  showing the vids story and band shots. Yet, these two settings take their turns. When you do e.g. 20 seconds Futurama, 10 seconds band, etc.., it will appear more like a traditional music video, instead of "1 big Futurama block, 1 big band shot block, 1 big Futurama block"
If you want to cut the live action sequences, there are some scene Sting scenes you haven't used yet:
- The funeral audience (Leela crying, Fry's Exes, etc... )
- Fry being "resurrected" by the honey
- Those scenes in which Fry tells Leela to wake up, she gets suspicious/fears
to wake up.

One last suggestion:
In the end, when Leela is talking to Fry's picture: Maybe you might contemplate trying to get a "save me" at that position when Leela is moving here mouth (it's basically nearly the same what she said in the episode, after all)

And..as per the usual...my post once again looks like I have much more
to complain than to praise. You know that's not the case, right? ;)

Very nice, Lauren!  You picked not only one of my top emotional Futurama episodes, but one of my top emotional songs, too.  Well done!

Because I absolutely love the song, I didn't mind the shots of the band.  And echoing Hein, your timing is great.  The thought that came to me was that it might be possible to mix scenes from two episodes that fit in with the "Wake Me" / "Bring Me to Life" theme.  The Sting, and Rebirth.  Dunno.

Good job :)

@Hein
Next time I make a music video, I'll be sure to keep everything in mind that you've mentioned.

@Tachyon
You never know, I might make another one with mixed episodes.

But just a great thank you to the comments, they have both helped me out alot.

Edit: Sorry people but I can't make anymore music videos. Fox has made my video get a copy write strike. So it got taken down.
