A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, I was once a very active contributor to this fandom. I've had a long absence, but as Bender would put it... "I'm back baby!"
I'll be sharing some of my work, both new and old. Feedback is always appreciated.Hang Ten Fry -1999
This pic is sooooo old, it was the very very very very very FIRST thing I ever scanned and submited to the internet.
This was durring a time when I didn't have my own comp, or knew a thing aboug CG coloring... heck, I didn't even know how to use email. I remember bugging my dad to scan and send it for me when I had gone to visit him that weekend.
This pic was inked with a black sharpie and colored with Prismacolor Pencils, which back then was my only media of choice.Merry Christmas - 1999
This is one of two Christmas sketches I did that year. That was back when I really loved Christmas.
I remember spending hours on this sketch in my room. *sigh* good times.
The text and border were added useing Adobe Photo Deluxe 1.0. It was done on my very first computer, which was a hand me down Compaq, useing good old Windows '95. Merry Christmas 2 - 1999
Some veteran Futurama fans might recognise this pic, as it was passed around from site to site quite a bit.
The second Christmas pic from that same year. I remember being inspired by all the Leela fan boys that were evolving at the time and did this just for them.
This may have been my very first attempt at CG coloring or at least one of my earliest ones. Sadly I had no clue how to ink or do decent CG art, so all I could do was color over my own pencil lines. Once more, it was done on Adobe Photo Deluxe 1.0Leela Sketch - 2000
So, I'm hounestly unsure if this was done in 1999 or 2000. I just remember it was part of an art project I did for my High School art class durring my senior year.
This pic was done useing Prismacolor Pencils and watercolor pencils.
Well, That'll be it for the old stuff. To see more work from my early Futurama fan days, you can visit my gallery at TLZ: http://www.leelazone.com.ar/fanart/jennifer.shtmlJenny
I've decided to dust off an old OC. Meet Jenny, my Futurama character.
The brief run down is that Jenny was a young woman from the 1950s who by some freak accident, ended up frozen in a make shift Bomb Shelter. She was then excavated in the year 2998 and thawed out. She continues to live, adapting to modern life in the 31st century.Day at The Beach
My first Futurama fan art in near a decade!
This pic features Leela, Fry and Bender enjoying a day at the beach with thier new friends, Jenny and Andrea. (Credit: Andrea belongs to my friend Tammy Corizis)The penalty for drinking the last can of Slurm...
Death by tickling! To want what one could never have...
Oh lord, where to start?
Well, this image was the result of several hours, lots of caffine, and listening to just about every Disney soundtrack in my music collection.
Speaking of Disney, yes this scene was inspired by “The Little Mermaid.” for those of you who recognize it.
Originally, I was going to have Leela instead of Colleen (who was a one time character featured in one of the 4 Futurama movies, "The Beast with a Billion Backs" ) But then I decided to go in a different direction.
This scene is meant to take place sometime before the events of the movie, where Fry introduces Colleen to the planet express crew for the first time. This of course becomes a major blow to Jenny, as she and Fry had shared a rather intimate moment the night before. (*ehem*, yes you heard right I said intimate!)... more to that story, but for now, back to focusing on the pic!
Here we see her falling to pieces after overhearing the commotion down stairs. Jenny in the 50s
I've been wanting to draw a pic, featuring Jenny in her original era. Here she is in her 50s clothes and listening to her favorite Elvis record. I love you little meatbag.
A pic I did for MissFuturama (http://missfuturama.deviantart.com/
of her character Alice (Fry and Leela's daughter) and Bender.
I just adore this character. She sort of reminds me of Rini from Sailor Moon Fry and Anny
A pic I did for LeenaKill (http://leenakill.deviantart.com/
) of Fry and her character Anny at the park. Here they are in front of a beautiful Central Park backdrop. Credit for the BG of course goes to Google images and to whoever took the photo.
Also, in case it's not obvious enough, Anny is the daughter of Bender and Amy. 'People Treat me Different.'
This is a gift comic for tastes-like-fry (http://tastes-like-fry.deviantart.com/
), featuring her OC Lucy, (Fry and Leela's daughter). The idea came to mind and I couldn't resist.
This didn't come out as well as I'd pictured it, but I had a heck of time getting the poses down >_<*Two headed Fry
A pic I did for SuperPrincessPink (http://superprincesspink.deviantart.com/
She requested a two headed Fry. This was a bit of a challange, but as Bender would put it, "fun on the bun!" Me and Fry
I actually made this pic for something I've been working on and contemplated on posting it, but I figure what the hell!
