I think that was in response to the Corrupt Despot running.

Mem'ries,
Light the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories
Of the way we were
Scattered pictures,
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
Of the way we were
Drawing pictures,
Of our friends online
We will remember
Whenever we remember
The way we were...
The way we were...

Edit - Just in case anyone wanted to hear the song:

Whoa, Maz can draw?

As in, actual art? Not my thinly-veiled personal attacks disguised as bad art?

Hurr. I like your personal art attacks.

I rarely make artz, and I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time, but I like doing it, so I want to try to make artz a bit more often now that I have a laptop again and can actually fiddle around with stuff on a compooter.

What program(s) did you use to draw and colour that?  Did you do any pencil sketches first, or was it done all on your compooter?

Bump!

I'm looking for artists more talented than myself to provide some minor contributions for an upcoming episode of my Flash series... There's going to be a brief montage of still images, depicting three (increasingly ridiculous) characters who are supposed to be well-known comic book heroes within the show's universe. I'm basically looking for someone (or even three separate people - since that'll differentiate the art style of each fictional comic) to draw these characters in a vintage comic book style.

I can't offer payment, but you will be fully credited for your work (and, if you have a site for your artwork, I could also include a link to it in the finished product's YouTube details). Please PM me if you're interested and I can provide you further details from there. ...Alright, back to arting, everyone! smile

Fry is trapped in space forever, the universe begins to dwindle and an old memory lulls in the back of his head, an old friend long forgotten to most, and he remembers as starlight dims away from the edge of the rim, adolescence showing its last glimpses of wonder and innocence, Fry drifting and decaying in a dark sea becoming darker.

I find it strange how Hermes is so often shown with a brain slug despite it only happening it one (or was it two?) episodes.

That's pretty cool, and it sorta' reminds me of Sof's drawing style. frown

And Hein, I don't know how I missed your drawing from earlier this month!  I'm not familiar with Gary King (please don't disintegrate me) but I pulled up a screenshot of Simon Pegg playing Gary King and you certainly captured the style wonderfully smile

I'm not familiar with Gary King ...

Change that smile "The World's End" is the most mature of the "Cornetto Trilogy". While "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" were already great, "The World's End" featured an often quiter humor, and the movie was just excellent as comedy, but brillant as tragedy smile

The secret button is at the top right.  I think the pattern is 9 alternating.

can't find the secret button, but the problem might lie with my browser.  Or perhaps the fact that I suffer from terminal blondness.

You can't click on the screen when it loads.  Hover to the top right, it should appear, and also I think flash default changes the mouse cursor.

You can click on the button when it appears, but if you click anywhere else it advances the game and you lose the secret.

There's a special move when you catch the other thing.

Fun story:  I defaulted the game to "kid mode" when I lived in a one bedroom with a bunch of people and two kids.  My comp was only entertainment, and of course the kids wanted to play, so I remade parts of the game and defaulted that version.... but I was too lazy to change the story (the engine that handles those functions is kind of complex), but the kids weren't really reading yet (5 and 7 I think), so I put a lot of effort in making the graphics for the kid version and let them go to town;  the story, whatever it is, is also probably not kid friendly... I'd also probably recommend depressed people not to play.

The special move is different in each version.....but there's a bug in the original version that makes it use both specials.
