Who are your favorite fanfic writer and fanartists on PEEL?

Whose works do you enjoy the most? I'm new to this so I would like some ideas on who to look for.

The terms message board, forum, and board are all interchangeable.  I would argue that PEEL as a collective is a message board.  However, it contains individual boards or forums on it.  As an example, we're currently posting on the Fan Art & Fiction forum of the PEEL message board.

The question is still rather ambiguous though.  laruenSmilies1, are you asking who our favorite fan artists and fanfiction writers are, or are you asking which members are interesting on PEEL as a collective?  The former is more appropriate for this forum (Fan Art & Fiction) where as the latter is more appropriate in a forum like Offtopic Discussion, as well as the subforum in the PEEL Vault for PotM (Poster of the Month).  The latter is also a question full of meta information.  Each forum on PEEL does tend to gather certain individuals more than others, so either question is arguably a reasonable inquiry to make.

You wanna take out the first [/quote] tag in that post.  You put that at the end of something to close it off.

Nah, that's cool, that's what I figured you were asking in the first place, hence my questions seeking clarification.  It's a perfectly reasonable question to make.

There are a lot of good fanartists and fanfiction writers around here or that have been around here.  I really enjoyed a lot of work by both TheVoices and FemJesse, but they're not generally around anymore for years.  Freako does good work, and InquisitorHein has an interesting style I enjoy.  There are also a lot more that I'm not remembering off the top of my head too.

Professor Zoidy has some good art, but she doesn't post much.  So does kirsu and Tastes Like Fry.

Freako and El-Man have some great stuff, but El hasn't posted anything new in the last couple of months, and Freako, well, he much likes the Rule 34.  

Cap´n Skusting had some good art in the Pirate theme.

Yes, I'm afraid Real Life has just gotten so busy lately. There's lots I want to do, but hardly have time to draw... things might improve once I finish my business course in a couple of months.

I agree the fan art on this site is amazing. But you should really read some fan fictions. I'm really liking Taste Like Fry's fan fictions, you can really feel what is happening during the story and you can easily picture it in your head without getting confused.

Because all fan fiction is crap.

Sorry Freako I have to disagree with you. Try reading some of Tastes Like Fry fan fictions. In my opinion I love them. But I don't know about you.

To be honest I don't recommend PEEL as a place to look for new Futurama fan fiction or art. It's here, definitely more artists than writers, but it's rare to come across someone who consistently posts. I recommend fanfiction.net, Deviantart, and TLZ:Futurama Madhouse for more frequent updates.

That being said I have always loved FemJesse, Kif White, and BumbleBeeTheta.

Very long lost. I'd be at the same rank as coldy if I wasn't hiatus-ing for so long. This board has had a massive change in people posting. The fanart/fanfic thread was the happening thing back in my day. Lots of art, lots of stories. Good times.

Definitely TheVoices, Cap'n Skusting and FemJesse. Any newer PEELers who haven't seen their art need to look it up, compare yours to theirs and kill yourselves.

Several. Four basic courses I have to have, so I'm full time. Got a math, a history, and two others. They're escaping me at the moment! You know you have too much work when...


Perhaps I'll fart around in my sketchbook and do some more "my style" Futurama sketches. I should update how I draw Leela. I was happy with Fry when I updated him. I should work with him anyways. My facial expressions need work as well as bodies but that a whooooole other issue.

I'm nearly positive that'll make the cut for the quotes thread we've got floating around.

I've had math for a full 3 semesters. This is my last course. It was pointless to take the other ones because my work now is more along the lines of logic and probability and so WTF do I need algebra and junk for? I don't.

Bodies are the devil when it comes to humans. Cartoon characters are something you can fudge so long as they're of the anthropomorphic variety but even human cartoons present a challenge for me. Add realism and I'm suddenly a deer in the headlights.  My hands always look like some weird set of sausages attached to some odd contraption roughly shaped like a hand.

Realism? Don't go there! Eyes I can do, but that's about it.

Search on Deviant Art for some tutorials, I've had some big help from some.
