Since I seem to be getting positive feedback on these panoramas, I thought it would be time to give them their own dedicated thread so they stop clogging up general art.

The corners of this one were drawn by hand, so it isn't technically a true panorama. ;)

And for those who missed my previous ones:

Note: At the time of this thread's creation, this was just for panoramas. As of July 2012 it's now where I dump all kinds of other things.

Well, had you not mentioned it, I would've never known you'd drawn the edges in. Great work as usual, Unreal. :D

Looks fine to me...

Remember, Unreal's are in HD...

Not bad, futz.

I prefer doing ones from season 5 and 6, because they're more visually impressive than the earlier seasons.

I just got another cool idea for one, so I'll edit it in shortly.

How in any way is that a joke?

Anyway, this will be my last post as a PEELer. :( Goodbye friends, I hope you have fun with your lives.

Say what?!

The one I posted is only about half size of the original composite so the quality suffers a bit. It would stretch the PEEL page off of most monitors and take a while to load.

Actually the images are resized automatically now so you won't page stretch. :)

So they'd be squished and have random fuzzy resizing artifacts anyway?

Not necessarily. It just gives the image a smaller resolution and sometimes makes 'em look overly sharp. If you have a REALLY odd size, then it may try to shrink it in to fit and have it look squished but so far as I can tell it doesn't do that.

I like the interesting design approach you used. Whether it was or wasn't out of necessity doesn't really matter because I think it looks so good being a parallelogram.

It was a necessity actually, because the shot moves to the right slightly rather that just going straight up. I like how it turned out.

Really like the idea of these, and how well they've turned out.

Adding links to a bigger version of these (or submitting the big versions to a site like TLZ) would be a good idea.

Well... right clicking and opening it in a new tabs gets a bigger version. I'm not sure if that's what you meant though...

This one is a bit pointless, but it only took a few minutes to make.

Pointless? UrL, your work is never pointless. Artists and fans alike appreciate anything and everything made in glorious HD. I know I use grabs like this for drawing refs sometimes.

I only say pointless because the above image isn't particularly amusing.

Anyway, I hope you all like oddly-shaped panoramas, because there's one right here:

You could argue that it's artistic in its current presentation.  One could also cut off the blocky edges, so the piece is just one smooth diagonal cone.

That would be because the new episodes are more visually impressive than the older ones. And that's the whole point of panoramas!
