Yes, it's true - after a staggering *two year* gap, I've started work on a new Futurama comic. Called 'The En-Amy Within' (no points for spotting the Star Trek reference), it will - when finished - feature a double dose of the lovely Ms Wong in 'good' and 'evil' versions, Fry getting lucky, gratuitous Bender nudity, Leela on a Gay Pride march, giant teddy bears and plenty of large-scale destruction. It's probably going to be at least 12 pages long, so it could take me a while to draw.

The question I put to you is: do you want it in black and white, or is there a demand for colour? (Or you may not care at all, but whatever...) The former will be finished a lot faster, because at the moment my free time is somewhat limited by the demands of my job and the fact that I'm still trying to beat my first novel into sellable shape.

if you have a preference, reveal it to the world here!

i dont mind if its color or not. many of the online comic strips are made in black and white and are very good indeed.

still, we are used to see the futurama cast as colored so i guess it would be prudent to color them then.

What i suggest however, is that you make the first strip in b&w _and_ color and then ask which one we would like to see more of! That was you'll know if we prefer speed to color (or something).

Well, you can see what a black and white page looks like here...

Note that this is missing titles and the like, and the final version (coloured or not) will be larger. But anyway, what do you think?

Copy the link, and paste it in your adress bar, static.

Looks nice Andy, I still think it'll look best in color like your other comics, but let's see what the rest say.

Poor Amy, I almost felt sorry for her.

You really think I'd let my favourite cartoon babe of all time (even beating Jessica Rabbit and Nene Romanova) take a slap like that without some payback further down the line? Wait until you see the rest of the story...  :D

Looking great! I don't have any real preferance - I mean sure it would be nice in colour but really what every you think is best.
Great work though.  :)

I think the lovely Miss Wongs deserve nothing less than full color.

A thought... maybe you could release one page at a time?

:nono:  That would be horribly frustrating.  I'd rather wait and read the whole thing at one time.

Oh, and I guess I'll vote for color as well.  Although black and white would be okay; I could just pretend I'm reading manga.    :)

I really don't mind if it's in colour or not as long as page 3 comes soon!  :p  ;)

Hey, that's my job!  :laff:

I guess I'll have to wait an hour before I get to see the cute intern, Geocities again with their datatransfer rule.

[dumb voice] You know, I don't think GeoCities are being entirely accurate with their data transfer rule! [/end dumb voice]

Seriously, it seems that you hit your transfer limit after about 2K. And I know for a *fact* that GC are spamming, because I regularly get 'Your data transfer status' warnings for one of my sites... that has had *no* hits for several months!

And yes, I know I could transfer to somewhere better. But I'm just too lazy.

How 'bout releasing it in b&w first, then going back and coloring? Still get it faster than normal, still get it all at once, only with an upgrade to the prettiness.
In any case, I'm ashamed (because in my book, fanstuff is only good when it's for Japanese things.  :laff: I am a worser sort of nerd...) to have enjoyed these comics immensely. Huzzah, good show.
