Nice to see you do more artwork.
If I may inquire: Those "humanised ponies" are your own style, right?
They certainly look interesting and unique.
Did you ever contemplate drawing the Futurama characters that way?

Thanks lauren! I wish I had brought some Futurama, haven't been watching much of it lately, I need to, I think I might see if I can get through from the beginning to the current before the new season starts, that might pull some inspiration.

Eternium; really? I went and watched it with a friend who is a brony, but his housemates weren't and were critising us the moment we sat down to watch it. But they didn't leave the room, they watched it, laughed, and reluctantly said they enjoyed it. I don't think I've met someone who's watched it that hasn't enjoyed it. (at least, not irl)

Yes they're my own style, and I have thought about drawing Futurama characters that way and in fact before my own style was consistent I did try and create them (although it never really looked how it was supposed to), but now I'm not sure if I want to. Fry would be easy enough, but then Leela would be damn hard with her one eye. I spose I could try it, but it could be a while, I've a list of 'todos' first. Maybe I can tack it to the list as well. Thanks.

The following wips are for a new DA profile picture of epic proportions.





I has two more to do, one with some Star Wars flavour like this. And one with some Harry Potter flavour like this, although it'll be drawn more digitally like my humanised ponies are and not in pencil.

Someone once requested a clawpatch scene? Can't remember who, but I made it anyways.



Also the battle at Neander, (was it Hein that requested this?) Although he probably requested with the intention of forcing me to do create detail. I went in the other direction and simplified it xD



And because I felt like it, I whacked this really roughly together late last night.

I really like your self-portrait; I especially think the way it's shaded looks cool.

Your Equestria Girls gif is really cute    I'm not a huge fan of the trailer itself, but hopefully it'll be as great as the rest of the series.

Thanks UrL! I've decided not to use it though, it doesn't really fit with what I'm trying to do.

Anna; glad to hear you're better! And thank you - it's not really shaded, it's all block vector shapes, the same technique I use when making Futurama art, although I normally leave the outer lines in.

I'm starting to warm up to the idea of Equestria Girls myself, as long as they go back to their norm in season 4.

Okay, about the single pieces:
- Battle of Neander: A really nice/unique idea/concept.
- Self portraits: Both good concepts. Though the "colored photo" version captures your likelyhood best, my favorite is the last one. Using your own characteristic style makes the image very personal. And hardly any image can get more personal than a self portrait
- Clawplach: The background colours make the piece for me. Their look just does imply some pressure (obviously fitting)

I think it's going to be like the Futurama movies. Can stand alone, can be left out, but it ties in well between S3 and S4. I think it's the reason S3 was only 13 episodes.

Hein: Thank you! And I'm glad to know the background gives the effect I intended.

Got the profile picture: I was going to add a background to it, but then I didn't want to crowd it.

Title: Pinkie Pie's Happiness, Pinkemena's Depression
So, I see that despite being really careful to get everything before saving it to be uploaded there's a couple of parts where my colouring has gone over the lines. I will fix that during the week and update it. Other than that, I'm really pleased with how this turned out. I'm really trying to practise emotions, yet consistency with character. In fact once I've finished with the others I might come back a do a full emotion meme with Pinkie. I tended to spend a lot of time more on her, erm, bewbs. I figured if Pinkie can defy gravity, then so can her girls.

I would totally own gummy earrings if they were available... and they were clip on. I figured earrings are fun to add more character too. Yes. Rainbow Cupcakes. I went there. I'm mortified with myself.

Background was a last minute addition, figured I need something to tie the series of images together with something. So their regular colour with cutiemark, gradually fading into a background that represents the moment where they lose it completely. Pinkie's is the easiest as it's self provided, the others I'm going to have to put some thought into.

lulz, you would. (I was half anticipating Freako to comment 'too much bewb'). Figured I'd try and give them different body types, don't expect so much bewb in upcoming arts. Except perhaps Fluttershy, which isn't till last so enjoy your wait.
