Just saying you ain't seen nothing yet... but you will - like, now.
Well..it seems the term "see nothing" does not really apply to that dress (Sorry, but you served that one on silver plate ) But to get serious: Looks good and promising so far, looking forward to seeing the complete Halloween pic. Also, love the PJFTL tatoo idea I wondered what those little circles on Fry's pirate headscarf will be. A point pattern, or stand-in-shapes for little skulls (yep...the evil man is mentioning those damned details again...he's really annoying ).

Lol, well, yes, there will be a lot of Leela-leg... and thigh. The tattoo is for plot - this is an illustration of a very old fanfic I did. Just dots I'm afraid xD More wip sneak peaks:

Kind of embarassing that I forgot to comment on this one.... Anyway [Homer Simpson Mode on] Hmmmm....Details....drool...[Homer Simpson mode off] Very nice to see you continue the "background with every detail" approach Full moon, night...perfect background for a Halloween themed pic. Looks good so far, and looking forward to see the completed version * Inquisitor Hein just remembers that he also should do something Halloween related...

xD That's ok. I haven't been around to see comments on it :P Yesh, for big projects like that I feel like I should now, sets the scene and makes it epic. Thank you! <3 And yes you should. Just a quick non-halloween-related one, my original Lucy art has had over 9000 views on DA and so I made this on the spur of the moment: No background I'm afraid, just bubbles.

Looks very promising, looking forward to see the completed pic:) See...backgrounds ARE fun:) In a certain way, the layout reminded me also a bit of one of my own comic pages. Hope you do not mind me to be so vain to refer to my own stuff in your thread: http://www.peelified.com/index.php?topic=22818.msg1328163#msg1328163The central vanishing point, high building to both sides, long road in the middle, even with three visible towers in the remote centre as background are motives in both pics. (Not to get anything wrong: I do not wish to imply in any way you copied from me. Hope it didn't come off that way). Okay, back to your pic (the thread is supposed to be about it, after all;) ) I also like you you played with the various "detail sizes/degrees": The detailed trio standing in front of a relatively blank wall, the wall on the other side being more detailed in comparison due to the window, the detailed background skyscrapers in front of the more/simple blank sky, being "crowned" by the again more structured moon... To cut a long story short: The "simple parts" kinda "give the eye a break" from the crowded details, divide the image, and give it "structure" and "order". A very nice and harmonic layout. Again: Good thing you went for the "including detailed background" approach

YEP!! FINALLY:) Looks really great Really, really, really, REAAAAAALLLY WELL DONE I must say: The scaled down version as seen on Peel alrady looks quite natural to me. Not like an obviously much larger painting scaled down very much...the size seems natural and harmonic. The coulour choice and detailing is also fine. As stated before: It divides the image harmonically into various section, the various details do not "mess with each other". Also, the dark wall puts the lighter trio nicely in the foreground. You would expect that Leela's dress might be too similar in colour, but it's good you had her torso framed by the flesh coloured area. Even her hat does not really line up with that dark wall, but is divided by Fry's hair. The coulour choice really outlines the Trio greatly as "foreground material" The layout, the "knowing about foreground/background and using them appropriately" aspect is what impressed me most about you pic:) (I certainy also do like the artwork and detailing, not doubt about that, but the layout is just my "personal highlight" ) I remember the image of Fry "glomping" Leela, and jokingly remarked it looked as if Fry's hand slowly traveled upwards. Fry's grin in that pic bears a certain "suggestive" mood. So -somehow- it got a certain mood of Fry's hand starting to slowly travel down. (Yes...I know..I am a bad person with an even worse mind )

Hurr, well let me assure you there's nothing suggestive going on here, it's just a hand on the shoulder to pull her closer... well maybe there is some underlying intentions xD I really can't take credit for the background, you should know me by now that I just take a bunch of screenshots and redo them. I honestly was waiting for someone to call me out on it. But I did pick some epic shots from 'The Honking' and made them pop *bam* As for Leelas hat blending with the wall, I wasn't too worried by it because there's a lot of scenes where Amys hair blends in with backgrounds and nobody is fussed by it - it was just a lucky coincidence that I placed her so close to Fry that the blending isn't obvious. However an awareness of background/foreground was very intentional, in fact is was very difficult to work out where to put them so they didn't look too big in comparison with their surroundings, also so they were all on the same level. Now, where can I get some of that TLF #12 Ale to sample?
In the future, globviously! Bender: "I helped to make the scar on his neck".
Great picture, Tasty!
Thanks But it's obvious that not everyone has read the ye olde fanfic this is an illustration of xD It's in my old thread and written back in the dark ages when we only had four seasons, but conveniently here on DA! If you can't be bothered reading it - the cut on Frys cheek is from one of the bugs that's invaded earth (they think it's an infestation), at midnight the venom turns him into a giant bug. F/L shipping, brain references, Nibblonians, yadda yadda, shipping, Why Not Zoidberg? drunkeness, shipping, shipping and er, candy? ... also shipping. So new art that's not really art... or at least not completed yet

I find your face disturbing Not Futurama, but a result of derping around on Flash And further derping uh, practising drawing cause I realised I don't use my tablet enough (Mouse is my preferred Futurama art tool) It's rough, but I'll fix it up eventually... Now, back to planning more Futurama art

Oh, I haven't popped in this thread in a while! I love the pirate picture. Is Nibbler puking or making a scary face at something? If the former, that would make sense, since it seems like they have just come from a costume party. I like the cute "Sibsy-style" Fry face. Very, very cute. And hey, the pastel colors are quite pretty. Why not use such a color scheme in your next art project? "Pinkie, you are so random!"

Lmao! Well, no, but I have taken a "brony" personality test and I'm more like Pinkie than the others. Here, have another smeel. Also a cleaner and better Rarity: Still not 100%, but a damn sight better
