Hey everyone, I'm new here and thought this would be cool place to show you guys my art that I have been doing for the past couple of months. I recently started painting out of boredom and it's really becoming an addiction now. Also the last time I painted something was in Art class over 10 years ago hahaha. Well I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I do, who know I might get bored of them and sell them so keep your eyes peeled! Thanks! big grin

This Bender piece is what started it all:

Here it is up against my comic book wall:

The start of Zoidberg:

Trying it out on the wall:

I see what you did there:

All together:

Here I did probably the coolest one (I think imo) I've done so far, Bender floating through space:

The lighting I had was terrible but there is actually a lot of blue and purple in there that really pops at certain angles:

Here are a couple of extra's I did that are non-related Futurama:

Also I want to point out that some of the lines in the pics look jagged for some reason, must of been the site that I uploaded them too :-/

First of all: WOW! NICE! Love them!

Second, is that Family Guy on the TV in the first pic? XD

Third, was your comic wall inspired by Ray William Johnson's =3?

Thanks! And yes that is Family Guy on the tv and another pic you can faintly see Futurama on big grin As for the comic book wall I did that out of boredom and a crap load of comics that I had laying around. Thanks again for the kind words! It really motivates me to continue doing art! big grin

Wow, that one of Bender floating through space is really great!

Also the Fry one, for the comedic/memetic value.

Thanks everyone! Here's a few more angles of the Bender Through Space one, again it's hard because that black is really glossy so the light just reflects like crazy through pics :-/ But enjoy none the less!

They are all brilliant paintings, but the one of Bender all alone in space makes me feel sad. I suppose that makes it an official Art!

Wow!  Cool!  Love them!  Like the Fry, Bender, and Zoidberg ones.  And what are those comic books on your wall?  My favorite one if the Bender floating into space.

I do watercolors paintings of Futurama characters in situations and such.  Awesome job!  Those paintings should be in the Smithsonian or something like that!

Thanks! The wall of comics was just me being bored and thought it would be cool to showcase some good comics that I grew up with as a kid. I believe there are some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles up there, as well as Spiderman, Xmen, Xforce, Carnage, Punisher, Spawn, Morbius, Ghost Rider, Alf, Ghostbusters. I also hung up the original ads too, so that way I can laugh at old school gameboy/nes/snes games or 90's wrestling stuff haha

I have to say that I really love these pieces. A good ole "I see what you did there" Fry would look great in my apartment.

... You know what? I'm going to get my art-student brother to make me one!

The Bender one is just fantastic. I'd love to see that adorning the side of some dull, grey building. Instead of blank concrete, a gigantic angry-looking robot.

My brother's an artist too, weiner. I'm very very tempted to ask him to produce a Futurama piece for my wall right now.

Your art is amazing!
Yes, exactly what I thought!

How awesome to have your own printed Futurama works of art to hang on your wall. If this were the SIMs, I have a feeling yours would be feeling the positive effects of the moodlet "beautifully decorated" big grin love

If you do any more we'd love to see it!
