To whom it may concern: I, Futurama_Freak1, bid you hello! You don't know me, though you may have heard of me. But that's not the point. Long story short,
Welcome to the topic of my fan creations!

First up we have a 1 minute 6 second Futurama "short" I spent a little over a week animating.

Same here. So now we have what, three people with the words "future" and "freak" in them? Anyway good to have you here. I've always been a fan of your work or at least what I've seen on TLZ and other places.

nice work!  Some of those 3d game screenshots look like they came straight out of the game.  There are a few small differences, so I know they didn't, but they are darn close. 

I'll have to check out that animation later.  My stupid internet connection isn't loading it for whatever reason.

They aren't animations, well there are animations in them because its an in game screenshot not a 3D scene see:



also it would happen to be on par with the Futurama game because I spent hours eyeing the game's planet express walking around checking every detail then recreating it on my computer then chucked it all into Vice City

But that's not the only thing Futurama included in PedRising there's a whole plaza in the mall dedicated to it although it is highly unfinished



but that still isn't even all.

Oh and as for my name, I've been using this screen name for at least six years so similarity to other Futurama Freaks is just a coincidence... or maybe a time duplicate.

Anyway I am contemplating on making a "what if" comic where it's the pilot but some things are switched around, like Leela is the pizza delivery woman and she falls into a time machine and goes to the past and meets fry. There are a lot of things that complicate this idea though so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

Mmm... at the stroke of Midnight on new year's, 2000, the computer controlling a particle accelerator at a lab malfunctions because of Y2K and opens a time-space rift, pulling a hapless fate-assignment officer back in time 1000 years where she immediately runs into a pizza-delivery boy who'd been sent to the lab as a joke.

Fun could be had with Fry helping her disguise herself to look normal. Cultural clash. Meeting Fry's family, etc... Possibly a lot of the sort of fish-out-of-water humor that was briefly seen in Roswell that Ends Well, with Leela overestimating the technological capabilities of those around her. And with her wristamojigger and knowledge of advanced technology, it could almost be like Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie... except sci-fi instead of fantasy.

Oh, you said comic... rather than lengthy fanfic... My bad.

I'm not a fan of fan fiction.
anybody can wright it and most of it has nothing to do with Futurama other than the character's names.

Although that partial accelerator thing is a good idea.

Not to pour cold water on your idea (really!), but Corvus is writing something very much like that on the FM board - look for 'The First Day'.

Yes, I know, fic as opposed to comic, but the story idea is similiar.

I was completely unaware of that fan fic (or any fan fic to be precise) So I found it and scanned though it and found the only similarity was the Leela going into the past thing.

I have sent him a message regarding the matter to make sure there won't be any problems before I continue.
