Cool. I read the first part yesterday, and it was very good. Solid work, Erdrik.

BTW, does it come in an illustrated version? I wouldn't mind seeing that first scene in Leela's bedroom in strip form.  ;)

But before I start it(if I do it) I am going to finish the Fic first.

/EDIT

Leela was a once in a life time chance. It was pure luck that she was born with no major mutations(I still hold that she may be an alien mutant) If her parents had any other children, chances are they were too mutated to go above ground.
And her having an un-mutated sister would farther lessen her... unique-ness... or something.

How well did the characters hold true to them selves?
Oh! And I plan to have a part two in which Amy forces Leela to gossip about the relationship.
Im going to set it up like a clip show, only show the different things Leela and Fry did together In secrecy  :flirt:
Im thinking Ill call it 'The Juicy Details' hee hee  :laff:

Snds great man...Yea I thought that you did a good job of making the charachters seem realistic.. Fry was an idiot for the most part and leela was her strong self.  Yea you did good in that sense!

OMG!  Erdrik, that was sooooooooo good!  I loveded it!    Man, if I had 2% of the talent you invested in this fic, I'd have it made.  I can always dream though...  :)
Anyway, the characters were played very nicely and the plot flowed well.  I particularly enjoyed the scene where Leela goes to "check the supplies" and meets Fry by the closet.  Reminds me of myself...    Did I just say that?!  Oops!
All in all, it was a great fic.  I look forward to reading more from you.  Make sure to put out a sequel soon!  Please!  ;)

Theta! Drop and give me 50...fanfics.   :) You too Zombie. I've read your stuff, it doesn't suck, believe me. I want to hear no more self putdowns. Someone who was apparently smart once said "A man is his own worst critic." This is especially true of us writers. Most of us pour any free time we can spare into this. The dedicated pour their heart and soul into it.

Zombie and Theta, you are among those who are dedicated to their craft. I also read somewhere that writers are very optimistic. How else would we be able to type words on that blank screen?

As for feedback, people don't realize how important it is to a writer to hear words of praise or criticism. Mark Twain once said "I can live for six months on one compliment." I know he was right, I've felt it. Drop us a line after reading a story, don't just rate it. Ratings are nice and should be used, but it can't compare with a mailbox full of e-mails proclaiming how the story was appreciated. Don't be afraid to criticize. Tell how we could improve. So long as it's an e-mail of constructive criticism, and not a string of swear words, it will be appreciated.

Whew, that was long! Well, Erdrik your story was great, I hope to see more from you.

BTW, I forgot to mention a problem I have and wanted to explain. A few people have criticized that I don't keep the characters spot on in my fics. First, I don't think it's a crime to portray them differently. So long as they're not so off, you can't enjoy the story.

The second thing is Fry is really the only character I sometimes let get out of  character. I can't capture his stupidity all that well because I can't see it as well as others can. Well that's all I really wanted to say. Sorry, if I bored you all to death. ;)

It was hard for me to capture Fry's stupidity as well. Luckily I have the season1 DVD's, and 4 Downloaded episodes to inspire me lol  :laff:

The fic Idea 'The Juicy Details', above is going to be the next one...  :flirt:

An honor, eh?  Well, if it is Erdrik, Zombie, Allen, Kryten and any one who's ever written a fic deserves to be honored.  Hooray for the authors!  :)   If you find this post to be self-absorbed, feel free to call me a bitch.  I don't mind.  ;)

Well, I just finished reading your story, Erdrik.

Wow, that was cool. Great story, and all the characters was "in character" (why did the sentence just sound akward?). Story flowed, cute moments, funny things, who could ask for more? The final twist with Bender was great, easily my favourite part (Okay, so I'm not that big a shipper  :p), spot on Bender.

Two tumbs up.

While writing the Bender part I was thinking it was a little too... mmm.. 'serious evil', instead of Benders normal 'funny evil'...  :hmpf:

No, I think it was "funny evil", noone really was in any danger, and Bender went for the money like he should.

The black eye-thingy that was closer to "serious evil", but it was important for the story, so...

    DAMMIT!    I wrote out a long slew of stuff only to click submit and the next page say 'you enter wrong password' I click the back button and its all GONE!

Eh, oh well off I go again,
say hello to the deep end!

Anyways: My Idea for 'The Juicy Details':
Amy gets Leela to spill about the details to Her relationship with Fry. Flashbacks from Valentines day to present (Which is Now after 'Where the Buggalo Roam')
Amy brings up Leela's past "conquests" and wonders why she never got back at Zapp.
(I haven't seen most of the 2nd and 3rd production season, so If I get a few continuity errors TELL ME!!!)
Amy gets the idea to invite the crew to a ceremony her parents are holding in DOOP's honor(For Zapp "saving the Buggalo"  ), so Leela can show off her new relationship.
The Wongs agree saying that they did help, and that:
"You get honorable mention, instead of big fancy doorprize!"
