Hi, all.

Remember my Leegola/Ferrari Logo cross? I even speculated that getting some made as a real cloth patch would be cool, but thought it wasn't feasible.

Well, just for a laugh, I did a two-colour version of it, and took it to a local embroiderer. I almost wish I could have seen my own face when he told me how much a small batch of only 20 or 30 would cost (hint - surprisingly little!).

If put onto a gold material, only black thread is required. It would look a bit like this, about 11cm high, and 7cm wide.

And the price, adding in a couple of bucks for simple envelope postage, I think I could do them for US$8.00 each. And I have a Paypal account now. Profits, if any, will be donated to a local charity. Maybe something to do with horses. :)

So... who wants one? Or more than one? If I can get more than 20 requests, I can take it in next week. This is a special, very limited offer! First come, first served!

What if I can't get it by mail? I live far away. Can I just print it and glue it on my diary?
I swear to tell that it is your job, if somebody ask!

Yeah, go on! :D

All right - this is approaching viability... good one, people.  :)

Just a couple more pledges, and I'll see about getting the badges started.

I will reply with more details as soon as it happens.

Good news, everyone!

They're here!

I had twenty made, and there are eighteen to be sold. Two are mine. :)

From the various postings to different forums (FM, PEEL, and TTP), sixteen have been reserved. There are two possibles (Frisco17, SolyentOrange, time for a yay or nay, guys). So that's all of them.

Those who wish to send payment by money order may do so, but Paypal transactions are much faster and will be sent off first. Remember, US$8.00 per badge, and that includes airmail postage to anywhere.

Paypal receiving email - el_mannn@yahoo.co.nz

Money Orders - Leegola Badge, PO Box 74-013, Market Rd, Auckland 1051, New Zealand.

Regardless of how you send your payment, you MUST send me an email to the above address (no forum PM's, please), letting me know your payment is on its way, and where you would like your badge(s) posted. If you're uneasy about giving out your return address, perhaps a parent/sibling/spouse has access to a PO Box at work?

Will more ever be made? Only if I get more than twenty requests, so it's unlikely at this stage.

sorry El-Man.  I really had planned on buying one, but after the nice big surprise bill I just got from the university, I've barely got grocery money.

I know this may seem a bit of a stupid question but how long do you think it'll take to arrive?
But otherwise, cool, I should be getting enough money any day now...hopefully...

I'm buying one of the extra patches left over from people's negative economic downturn.  I'll place one on one of my soft rifle carrying cases and the other on my flight travel bag.

How long? As long as standard airmail takes, I assume.

Thanks to the folks who sent through Paypal transactions already,  your badge(s) will be on their way Monday.

Hah, it arrived! Bigger than I expected it to be. I poked it into the band on the front of my hat and it made me look like a mountie.  :laff:

I got mine yesterday.  to the person who lost his chance giving me a chance to snag two:  Thanks.

Like Arch said, they're bigger than El's pic implied.  they're top quality and I'm going to enjoy the ones I got.

Eight bucks each.  He didn't make a profit and allowed others to appreciate his artisitc talent.  Everybody else missed out.

Thanks, El.

Here's one placed on my Ruger 10/22 rifle's carrying cases.  I think it looks pretty damned good.

There will be no confusing my case from another case.

Let us know how many people ask why you have the Ferrari logo on your case - then get confused when they look closer. :)

Your attention, please.

This is a final note to inform everyone that all the Leegola/Ferrari badges have now been sold, and there are no more available.

Will there ever be more? As stated, only if there are more than twenty definite requests, which is unlikely now.

Congratulations to all the owners. We now own a unique piece of Futurama fandom. Who knows, maybe you'll recognise another badge at a WorldCon, or something like that. :)

Anywhere you can get airmail.
