tnuk: took the words from my mouth.  There is a distinctly pokemon feeling to it. More precicely, a monster from Yu-go-oh drawn in Pokemon style.

Note: This is not intended to be insulting.

You know damn well that it's Yu-gi-oh!

Great to see you again, Venus.

You're going to hate me for asking, but what show is your new art based on (I don't watch much TV - Demeter did introduce me to Kim Possible last year).

Anyway, your art skills have improved a lot over the past year or so.  Do you plan to do anymore Futurama stuff?

Drop in to "Hello" to us occasionally.  I (and by extension, everybody else) miss your occasional posts.

It's a nickelodean show called El Tigre that was canceled a few months ago. Turbonick has episodes posted.

I don't know if I'll do more Futurama, it's possible if i get a decent idea that i actually think i can pull off.

Awww  i miss you guys too. I still lurk fairly often, just don't got much to say.

I've seen the show once before, and I must say that was pretty good. I thought it was the real thing.

If it was the real thing, scrap what I just said before.

The fact that you can call that late night scribbling makes me feel my complete lack of drawing talent very acutely.

Whenever I try to do computer art my scans always come up all pixelly. Otherwise I would post more art here.

Mine are pixelly too Bianca. I just apply the blur tool on my bootleg photoshop to hide it.

You feel bad?  I have a legit copy of Lightwave 3D.

(Obviously the most expensive program I've ever bought.  I may have to upgrade my computer to make it work more efficiently. :nono: )

Kelly:  "You paid how much for a computer program?!?"

To make it up to her, I bought a 22" monitor for her computer and a 20" LCD TV for her room.

i never pay for any programs
my programs are all real but they are stolen
if i added the value of them up they would come to around £5000 or $10000

Robin Hood and King Arthur. Because I think they'd make a pretty cool team.

Yes, I have given Arthur a kilt. I did this because I love causing historical arguments.

But who is normal in this sick sad world? Anyway these pictures are great, especially the crisis.

Arthur was probably Welsh. Now, given I have a bottle of welsh single malt whisky I can fully accept the idea of a welsh king wearing a kilt. Especially after a few drinks. Which I shall now have. Also it looks like Arthur is about to break out into song for some reason

"We're Knights of the Round Table,
We dance when ere we're able,
We do routines and chorus scenes
With footwork impeccable.
We dine well here in Camelot,
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot.
We're Knights of the Round Table,
Our show are formidable,
But many times, we're given rhymes
That are quite unsingable.
We're Opera mad in Camelot,
We sing from the diaphragm
a looooooot.
In war we're tough and able,
Quite indefatigable,
Between our quests we sequin vests,
And impersonate Clark Gable.
It's a busy life in Camelot,
I have to push the pram a lot.... "

That would've hurt the back pocket a bit, I know that Maya 2009 is around US$5,500 with 3ds Max 2009 around US$4,000. I use Maya 2009 :p

I think it looks okay. Once you get the hang of the program it gets really easy. The reason it didn't fill in all of the spaces is because you just outlined right on top of the drawing. You should make a new layer, then outline, and the spaces will be easy to fill in. :D

The only thing you did wrong was draw a cute fury critter when you should have drawn some horrific bestial thing from the pits of hell with fangs and talons and tentacles.

This is a matter of personal taste though, I guess.
