I've completed a collage of the PE ship based on the pic I drew of it as a gunship - this time in several different airforce markings.

I tried to get the markings, layouts and camo schemes reasonably realistic and the names too although I got them from a book that might be slightly outdated so I'm not entirely sure all of them are correct. I understand that probably half the airforces now use anti-radar paint which is usually completely grey but that is far too boring.
I made all the logos from sratch apart from the PE logo which Paul made.

It's a *big* pic so you'll have to follow the link.

Remember to scroll left-right as well as up-down to see all of it.  :D

Great ones Zed!, the spanish one is good, those are the colors who are used by our Mirage F-1 fighters,F-4E and Mirage 3000 (obsoletes) (now all of the F/A-18s,EF-2000 are grey)

Also is very curious the turret of the ship and the "electronic alert system antenas" (are they?)

The turret is basically more of a Tank turret, there are actually two big guns either side (you can only see one though)

The "EASA" - I'm not sure  , if you mean that long pointy thingy sticking out above the cockpit then it was something I saw on the Mi24 Hind-D gunship that I thought "Hmm, that would look good" but apart from that I don't actually have any idea what function it's used for.  :hmpf: You could be right, I don't know honestly.  :)

sorry, but the german luftwaffe version is all wrong.
the rust holes and the 'will do anything for some money'-bumper sticker are missing. plus the door actually fits and the weapons seem to be working. that's just not a realistic, you know?

Some attack planes and bombers in the USAF still use camo.

Boy, all these military nuts.  :) But I like the pictures. I really like the one from Spain, and the US version looks pretty nice too. I hope you take the time to slice up the picture so the individual planes can look crisper.

Well, there is a spanish squadron of F/A-18s that uses that color scheme , they are used for training simulating posibly enemy colo schemes (like the Agressor squads in USA) ,The F-5E , Mirage F-1 , F-4E also stil uses it (the F-4s are only for recon, the F-5s are for training-reserve, the F-1s are about to be replaced by the EF-2000 in main fighter/interceptor/attack aircraft role , the F/A-18s will remain in service.

That is an electronic warfare system antena, it receives enemies radar emisions to alert pilots that somebody is watching the HIND in a radar... the standard radio antena is smaller

The planes were all done individually, I all have each one saved on its own.  :) I then pasted all the little pics I made of them together and kept them the same size. Some of them look blurred because I went OTT with the Softening tool.  :hmpf:

Thx for the info Javier  :)

Oh and don't worry Chump I plan to make another one and Canada was always going to be included  :D

Thanks again
