An Epic Tale- and a pic request

heres some of my next fic, and as request would someone do some fan art of Fry in his uniform, its a typical dress white uniform of the U.S. Navy. Comments and suggestions are highly encourged.

An Epic Tale

   This is my third fan fiction.  This one it’s mostly background, about the rise of the Fourth Reich, and its leader or Fuhrer, the clone of Adolf Hitler, remember him? And is going to part of an epic war series, that may include the one and only Chuck Norris, and of course all of our wonderful Planet Express employees, and yes the newly engaged fry and Leela, which happened in my last fic.    In the middle part of the 20th century, there was a war that had engulfed nearly the entire planet of Earth. That war is known as World War Two, which lasted from 1939 to 1945. The war was fought between to major alliances, the Allies that included the United States of America, France, the Soviet Union, and the British Empire. The other was the Axis, which included Nazi Germany, Italy (until allied invasion), and the Empire of Japan.

   The leader of Germany was one Adolf Hitler. He was elected chancellor in 1932, and in 1934 was named “Fuhrer” and held this until the end of the war in 1945. It was widely believed that when the Russians were taking Berlin, he had committed suicide in his underground bunker. That was mostly true. You see, what happened was some of top Nazi scientist had taken a variety of both tissue and blood samples from Hitler to make a clone of him. They were not successful in their attempts, since cloning in the Stupid Ages was still primitive. Since the public opinion of the Nazi party and its followers was that it was the source of all evil, the ones left in charge of Hitler’s remains and the task of cloning him left Earth around the 2500’s, along with the hard-line communist who had preserved the remains of their great leader – Joseph Stalin.

   They had both left to form their own societies and form their old leaders clone to their image of a perfect leader. They had a vow to return to conquer the universe, once they have reached their goals of military power and formed the necessary alliances needed to take on the DOOP, they would have a plan, to undermine the DOOP, causing its break-up leaving individual planets and to fend for themselves. And the time has almost come for that plan to be put into action…


Chapter 1 – A Little Surprise
Apartment 1l, New-New York
December 16, 3005 9:00 AM

   The past week was quite an adventure for both Fry and Leela. They had got sent to the Pacific during World War Two by one of the Professor’s inventions, during which they both grew closer to each other. In the process, while recovering in post-op after receiving wounds to his back Fry had popped the question to Leela. She had of course said yes, and Fry couldn’t be happier than he was now. Amy and Bender had come to their rescue and had brought them back to the 31st century, While on their way back the decided to not tell the crew about the news right away and surprise them the next Monday.

   Fry and Leela had spent the last couple of days at her place, resting from their ordeal. They also decided that now since they were engaged that Fry should move in with her, since they couldn’t stand to be apart anymore. Fry Willingly did this and moved his stuff into Leela’s apartment. They were both in bed, and both sound asleep when Leela slowly opened her eye and looked at the clock, which read 9:00 AM.

“Fry, its time to get up. It’s nine o’clock.” Leela said as she gently shook Fry.

“Just five more minutes, mom.” Fry mumbled

“Well then I guess I’ll have to take a shower all by myself.” Leela said as she got out of bed and walked to the shower. Almost immediately Fry jumped out of bed and followed her into the bathroom.

   A half hour went by before they were out of bathroom and getting dressed. They were both wearing their usual outfits – Leela in her white tank top, black pants, and boots. Fry was wearing his red jacket over a white T-Shirt with blue jeans and sneakers. This time there was something different they had on, Leela had on her engagement ring, (Fry’s wedding ring from the time-slips) and Fry had pinned two medals to the left breast of his jacket, one was the Purple Hart, and the other was a Bronze Star.

“Fry are you sure want wear those right now?” Leela asked

“Yea, I probably should wait to get we get work.”
Fry then took them off and put them in a small box, which he put in his pocket.

“OK, then you want to make breakfast? Cuz I gotta feed Nibbler.”  Leela said

“Sure thing honey.” He said, they kissed as the walked out the bedroom towards the kitchen where Nibbler was anxious for his breakfast of Kibbles N’ Snouts. Leela opened the huge can and Nibbler stood ready to eat. “There you go Nibbler, now mommy’s got to go work, we’ll be back.” Leela said as sat down with Fry at the table and they hurriedly ate their Archduke Chocula and ran out the door. It was already 9:45 and lucky for them, the tubes weren’t bad and they made it to Planet Express a little after 10


Planet Express, New-New York
December 16, 3005 10:15AM

   Everyone was gathered around the conference table waiting for Hermes Conrad, the Jamaican PE accountant/bureaucrat.  Seated at the table were Professor Farnsworth, who owned the company, engineering intern Amy Wong, she was barely able to stay up, and Dr. Zoidberg, and Bender.

“Are we ready to start da meetin yet?” Hermes said in his Jamaican accent

“Where’s Fry and Leela?” asked Amy

In reply to her question, Fry and Leela came waltzing in, holding hands and proceeded on to sit next Bender. Without delay Hermes started his meeting. It went on approximately 45 minutes, with mostly everyone not paying attention, except Zoidberg.

“Dat concludes the mettin, is there anymore announcements?” Hermes said.

“We do” Fry and Leela said together. Everybody immediately looked at them in shock; even the professor was jolted awake.

“We’re engaged!” Leela said with excitement and joy, Fry just grinned with happiness. Everyone about fell off their chairs and a bang came from bender as a brick fell out of him.

Chapter 2 – A Delivery For Chuck Norris
Planet Express, New-New York
December 16, 3005 11:25AM

“Well dat is intrestin, now on to the days deliveries, of which there is only one. You have to take dese  crates to the planet Norris 1.” Hermes said

“Where’s that at? And how come I haven’t herd of it?” Leela asked

The Professor then called up a holo-display that showed a planet that was about the size of Earth, but had one distinguishing feature- there was a mountain that was shaped like the face of Chuck Norris – complete with the beard.

“You see after the third Omicronian invasion was defated, Earth had decided to reward that person with anything he wanted. That personwas the almighty Chuck Norris.”

Everyone stared in awe, as the screen changed to show a biography page of Chuck Norris with a photograph and a biography. 

“Well anyway what Earth gave him was his own planet, they named it Lone Star 1. It’s a mecca for Chuck Norris fans. Now off you go.” The Professor said as he waved the crew off and shuffled back to his lab.
Planet Express Ship,
En-route to Lone Star 1
December 16, 3005 7:00PM (NNY time)

They had left Earth’s atmosphere about an hour ago and were now on their way to deliver the package. Leela was at the controls and Fry was at the engineering station, and Bender was in his and Fry’s quarters in sleep mode. Leela put the ship on autopilot and turned to Fry.

“Fry, I put the ship on autopilot, be in my quarters in ten minutes.” She said with grin on her face.

“Yes Captain!” Fry said, his voice almost cracking.  Thinking to himself wow, I still cant believe that she’s my fiancé, and soon to be wife. Fry waited anxiously for the ten minutes to go by, and it seemed like an eternity. Finally, time was up and he went towards Leela’s cabin. He knocked on the door.

“I’m here, ready and willing!” he said as the door opened to revel Leela on her bed in black negligee. Fry soon was taking off his clothes as he walked/stumbled over to the bed. He made it, and you can guess what happens next.

Several hours later, Fry and Leela were both in the bed nearly exhausted by what had just happened, and both of them were still amazed by what just happened.

“Leela, I love you” Fry said as they both cuddled.

“I love you to Fry.” She replied, “You know once we get back from this delivery, we got a bunch of stuff to do”

“We do?”

“We got to plan for a wedding and find a new apartment.”

“Oh, ok well then why don’t you get some sleep and I’ll take the night watch ok?”

“You sure?”

“I can handle it.” Fry then got off the bed and put his clothes on and left, blowing Leela a kiss on his way out. She smiled and was soon fast asleep.

Planet Express Ship
On approach to Lone Star 1
December 17, 3005 9:32 AM (NNY Time)

Fry was still at the controls, when Leela walked in through the door. She was in the process of putting her hair in a ponytail,
“Leela, we’re on approach to the landing site, you wanna take over?” Fry asked, as he turned toward Leela.

“Sure I’ll take over, you wanna go wake Bender up?”

“Already did, I sent him to check the cargo.” Fry said

He got out of the captain’s chair as Leela got in. he then went to his spot at the engineering console.

“Fry, how about a Xmas wedding? The day after of course.” Leela asked looking at Fry.

“I like it, and you know then before you know it, we’ll be Mr. and Mrs. Fry.” Fry said.

“You know what, I like the sound of it.” Leela said.

There was soon a knock at the door and Fry and Leela looked at each other, knowing whom it was.

“Hey skin tubes! Unlock this door!” shouted the robot Bender.

The door opened and Bender came through smoking a cigar and holding a beer. “Hey Fry, I get to be your best man right?” Bender said looking at Fry

“Bender, you’re my best friend why wouldn’t I?” Fry said

“And we might let you play your banjo at the reception” Leela said, winking at Fry

“Hey I found out what was in package, it’s a workout thing, and something called ‘Total Gym 3000’. And I used my x-ray sunglasses, so I didn’t open the crate.” Bender said crossing his arms.

“Get ready for landing.” Leela said, Fry and Bender then put their seatbelts on, and soon the ship landed on the planet and the legs extended.

“Fry, you can deliver the package, and Bender will help you load it on the hover dolly. It needs to go to a ‘Mr. Chuck Norris’. Got that?”

“Yea we got it. Come on Bender lets go.” Fry said, they both left the bridge and headed towards the cargo bay. Leela joined them after they had loaded the dolly and were on the surface.

Landing Zone Alpha, Lone Star 1
December 17, 3005 12:32 PM (NNY Time)

After they had met up and began walking, a black HoverBurban came up to them and on the sides of the doors was painted a gold star and a circle on around it, the inscription in the circle read ‘Texas Rangers’. It approached the crew and out came two humanoids both dressed in Texas Ranger uniforms. Both were tall and had an average build. Around their waists was a web belt with a .357 Magnum. One the senior of the two offers stepped up to the crew.

“Welcome to Lone Star 1, My name’s Officer Jones, and that’s my partner Officer White. Who here is the captain?” He asked with a noticeable southern drawl

“That would be me officer, we’re from Planet Express Delivery Co. and we have a delivery for a Mr. Norris.” Leela said

“OK, may have names please, for our records.” Jones asked, he was holding a PDA-type device.

“My names Turanga Leela, Captain, that’s our delivery boy Phillip Fry, and our robot Bender Rodriguez.” Leela said as she gestured to Fry and Bender.

“Thank you miss Leela, and if you and crew will ride with us we’ll take you to the ranch were Mr. Norris lives.” Jones said, he nodded and went over to talk to his partner.

“Thanks for the ride, but where are we going to put this crate?” Leela asked

“Bring it around to the back and it should fit in there.” Jones said

“You heard him Fry, Bender you can lift the crate in.” Leela said

“Yes Captain” Fry said and he and Bender pushed the hover dolly around to the rear where the hatch was opened. Bender then picked up the crate and put in the back.

“Thanks Bender, you can go back to the ship if you want, Leela and I will take care of the package.” Fry said.

“See ya skin tubes, I’m gona go and recharge.” Bender said and went back to the ship, beer in hand.

Fry then walked backed over to where Leela was talking with Officer Jones.

“It’s loaded are we ready?” Fry said

“Mr. Fry, you and Ms. Leela here can ride in the back with us and we’ll take you two to the ranch, it’s quite a ride.” Jones said

They then proceeded to get into the SUV with the officers in front and Leela and Fry in the back seat. Soon they were headed away from the landing pad and out towards the desert. 

Norris Ranch
December 17, 5:04 PM

The HoverBurban approached the front gates to the ranch. To either side of the wrought iron gate stretched miles of fencing, marking the outer boundary of the ranch property. On the drivers side of the driveway there was a small stand with an intercom on it.

Office Jones spoke into the intercom “ This is officers Jones and White, along with Phillip J. Fry and Turanga Leela of Planet Express.”

“Thank you, you may proceed to the main house.” The voice on the intercom replied. Just after that the gates swung open and they went through. They then came into view of main complex. The main house was a two-story ranch style structure, and the surrounding buildings were of similar style.

Fry and Leela were both looking out there respective windows, awe struck at the size of the place.

“This place is huge!” exclaimed Fry

“Fry, try not to embarrass us please?” Leela said

“Don’t worry, I wont act how used to.” Fry said setting his hand on Leela’s knee.

The car pulled around the circle drive that was in front of the main house. Sitting on the front porch, reading the newspaper was a man with reddish-orange hair and a full beard. He was tall, just about six feet, and had a well-toned body. He had on the usual cowboy garb, although instead of the ten-gallon hat there was a regular floppy one. The foursome got out of the car and the two officers went up to the porch. 

“Mr. Norris? It officers Jones and White” Jones said,

“Yes what is it?” Norris replied

“These people are from Planet Express, they say they have a delivery for you.” Jones said

“Ahh, yes, I’ve been expecting them.” Norris replied and walked down the porch to great Leela and Fry.

“I take it my package is in the back?”

“Yea, and if you’ll sign here please?” Fry said and handed him a piece of paper on clipboard.

“I’ll have the ranch hands unload it, now can I interest you in some dinner perhaps?” Norris said turning to Fry and Leela.

“I’m ok with it, what about you Leela?” Fry said

“I guess it couldn’t hurt, besides, it’ll be better than Bender’s cooking.” Leela said, “I just have tell our boss that we won’t back today.” She then punched in the number for Planet Express, and got the answering machine, “Hermes its Leela, we wont be back to Earth till tomorrow.”

“Now come let me show you to your rooms, I assume you want separate rooms?” Norris said as he led them into the house.

Leela responded “ No, one room is fine.”

“Well, follow me.” He led them through the foyer, then up the winding staircase to where the bedrooms are. He led them down a hall and stopped at the third door, “Here's you room, you can freshen up if you want, dinner will be at six thirty.”

“Thank you for your hospititaly, and for letting us stay here.” Leela said

“Not a problem.” Norris said, he then left the room.

“Well, what do you think?” Fry said as they looked around the room. In keeping with the western them of the house, the room was very much like it.

“It’s nice, much better than what you can expect from Hermes. Now its five thirty, lets say we take a nice hot shower.” She said holding Fry against her.

They then went to bathroom, where they found very much to their enjoyment, a Jacuzzi bathtub, large enough for two people.

“I have better idea Leela, since we have an hour before dinner, why don’t we take a bath instead?” Fry said pointing to the tub.

“OK, besides it’s been a while since I had a bath.” Leela said, she began taking off her clothes, as well as Fry and the water was already running.

It wasn’t until about six fifteen that they were out of the tub and getting dressed again, they had on semi-formal clothes, Fry in dress pants with a light brown sport coat on over and Leela was wearing a light-colored sundress. They both turned and looked each other over.

“I wonder how they got our sizes, because this fits perfectly, and what happened to our old clothes?”

“I don’t know, but I actually think I look pretty good in this, and I cant complain about you either Fry.” She said, they looked at each other then kissed, and walked out the door. They were surprised to hear what sounded like a party coming from the back of house.

“I think that’s where dinner is, let’s go I’m starved!” Fry said and led Leela toward the party.

Fry and Leela then made their way to the back of the house and out to the back yard where the party was. They were both surprised to see that there were there were so many people there, for on their way to ranch they hardly saw any signs of civilization. They both stood on the porch for a while until they saw a couple that looked very familiar.

Leela whispered to Fry as they walked off the porch “Hey Fry, isn’t that the Wongs?”

Fry looked at where she nodded her head. “Yea, I wonder what their here for? And look over there is that who I think it is?” The person that Fry was indicating was the one and only Zapp Brannigan, He was in his dress white uniform with his medals pinned to his left breast.

Leela thought to herself Oh no, not HIM again! Well hopefully now that I’m engaged to Fry he’ll leave me alone,
 
“Fry, to avoid any confrontations, why don’t just get some food from the buffet and go back to our room?” Leela said to Fry.

“I agree because I don’t want to deal with that jackass either. If he as so much glances at us, I’ll give him a bloody nose, I don’t care if he’s a DOOP general.” Fry said in a tough guy voice.

“Fry I don’t want you to get into any trouble, let’s just get our food and leave. And I don’t want you ending up with anything injured.” Leela said concerned for Fry’s well being.

“I know Leela, it’s that I don’t want you to be tormented by him.” Fry said putting his hand on Leela’s shoulder. They made their way towards the buffet, moving as quickly as possible through the crowd.

As they were going through the buffet line, Leela herd the annoying voice of Zapp. “Well if it isn’t the sexilicous lady Leela.” Zapp said as he approached the couple.

“Zapp, I would like you to meet my fiancé, Phillip J. Fry.” Leela said with a smirk on her face.
Fry turned away from the buffet table as soon as he herd first the voice of Zapp, then the voice of Leela mentioning his name.

“You’re marrying him? What about the Zapper, I thought we had something, but you chose that pipsqueak delivery boy. How can he satisfy you anyway?
 
It was at that moment that Fry’s closed fist connected with Brannigan nose, causing him to stumble back words and fall over. Gasps came from the crowd near the buffet table as Zapp fell to the ground. He was holding his hands over his nose trying to stop the blood that was pouring out of it. “Ahh, my nose!” Zapp screamed. Zapp managed to get up and at try to get away from Fry, except that Fry had caught him grabbed his shoulder and turned him around and shouted in his face “DON’T YOU EVER CALL ME THAT AGAIN YOU JACKASS!”  Fry then left the scene, with Zapp barley able to control himself, and the crowd quickly moving out of his way, and went back to the buffet table where Leela was standing nearly coming tears. He approached her, and they hugged and kissed each other passionately.

After several minutes, Leela stepped back and said “Fry, I can’t believe you just did that, now let’s go back to the room and you can satisfy me anyway you want.”

They then grabbed their food and went back to the room for the night.


Norris Ranch
Lone Star 1

Fry and Leela were both asleep when the alarm on her Wristamjigy started beeping. She rolled over and turned it off. They were both exhausted from last night.

“Fry honey, lets get up its 9:30, remember we have to go back to Earth today?” Leela whispered in his ear.

“Just five more minutes mom.” He mumbled back.

“Phillip, I’m going to go take a shower and so I guess I’ll have to take it by myself.” She said making her way to the bathroom. She then got in the shower and began showering when she heard the door open. Fry soon joined her in the shower and began scrubbing her back.

“Leela I love you.” Fry said

“I love you to Phil.” She replied. They then turned around and kissed each other and continued showering

Fifteen minutes latter, they stepped out of the bathroom to find the bed made and their old clothes laying on it, clean and pressed,

“It’s like staying in high end hotel.” Fry said as he put his typical clothes on.

Leela just nodded in reply.

They went down stairs and found that Chuck was waiting for them at the bottom of the stairs.

“Mr. Fry, I both heard and saw what you did to Brannigan last night, and it was quite impressive. Although I am curios as to what trigged it.” He said when the couple reached the bottom of the stairs.

“Thanks, I’ve wanting do that for some time. And it’s a long story.” Fry said

“Well how about you tell me over breakfast.” Norris said

“Is that OK with you Leela?” Fry said

“Yea I guess so. I’m starving anyway and I don’t feel up to eating Bender’s cooking.” Leela said

“OK then, just follow me into the breakfast nook.” Norris said. The three of them went into the nook and smells of  pancakes, eggs, and bacon filled the air.

“Breakfast will be ready shortly. Now I want to hear this about Brannigan.”

“OK, well it all started about five years ago when we had to rescue the animals form the planet Vergon 6, which was due to implode since the dark matter that made up its core was gone because it was used for spaceship fuel. Anyway when we got there we ran into the DOOP flagship the Nimbus….” Leela said. She then told the story about how she ended up sleeping with Zapp and that ever since then he hasn’t left them alone. Breakfast was served, and was devoured.

They were standing at the front door saying good bye, when the Planet Express ship landed in the center of the circle drive.

“I wonder who’s flying the ship, it can’t possibly be Bender.” Leela said.

“That would be my doing. I took the liberty of sending a crew out to the landing pad to bring your ship here so you don’t have to dive the four hours to the site.” Norris said.
Leela was just a little peeved at the fact she didn’t know about this, and that someone else was piloting her ship. However she didn’t let it show, since she was grateful for the action.

“Thank you for your hospitality Mr. Norris. Come on Fry let’s go home.” Leela said as the made their way to the ship. The previous crew was already disembarking. They nodded to each other as they went by. At the top of the stairs, they turned and waved goodbye.

Chapter 4 – A Gift From The Past

Everyone except the professor was at the conference table, trying to stay awake through Hermes’s meeting.

“And dat concludes the meetin. Are there any more announcements?” Hermes said.

“Well we have set a date for our wedding. It’s going to  be December 31st.”  Leela said

“Splesh Leela, it’s about time you two got hitched. And why did you chose that date anyway?” Amy said

“ Well, that day marks the sixth anniversary of my being unfrozen and the day that I first met Leela.” Fry said.

“Good news everyone!” the Professor said as he shuffled to where  everyone was gathered.

Everyone moaned, since it usually means they’re about to go on another delivery that could possibly kill them.

“I decided to give you the day off.” The Professor said

Shouts of joy came after that announcement and Hermes came into the room, “Fry mon, there’s someone at da door for ya.”

“OK Hermes, I’m coming. Come on Leela.” Fry said. They then went to the front door, and to their amazement, stood a man in a DOOP uniform with a package under his arm. He looked very much like the captain of the Sea Tiger, but younger.

“What’s the deal?” Fr said

“Are you Phillip J. Fry?” the man asked

“Yea, and how do you know me?”

“Well, you don’t know me, but you should remember one my distant relatives, Commander Mathew T. Sherman, USN. I’m his 40th grandchild, and in his will, he directed that this be given to one Phillip J. Fry.” He handed the box to Fry.

Fry opened the box and looked inside. In the box was a vacuumed sealed regulation dress white uniform of the United States Navy. Since it was vacuumed sealed, it looked like new. Also with the uniform was a letter, Fry took the letter and read it.

To Phillip J. Fry,

Phil, if you are reading this then one of m decedents has given you the uniform you see before you. I want you to wear that uniform at your wedding, and your Purple Hart and Bronze Star. I hope it fits, we got the sizes from your clothes. Consider this my wedding gift to you and Leela. I know you were never in the Navy to begin with, but after our time together, the crew and came to a decision that you deserved this.

Mathew T. Sherman, Commander, USN.

As Fry finished reading the letter, he put it in his jacket pocket.
“Why don’t you come in, and I don’t believe we got your name?” Leela said

“Oh, I’m Lieutenant Richardson, of the DOOP.  And thank you for your offer, but I must get back to my post on the Nimbus.” He said, “By the way, nice job you did on the jackass, Mr. Fry.”

“How did you know I did that?” Fry said.

“Let’s say that when he got back to the ship, that your name was mentioned along with a variety of expletives.” Richardson said. He then saluted Fry and Leela and turned and left.

 

 Fry went to the locker room to put on his uniform, while Leela went to the lounge where she found Bender and Amy watching All My Circuits on the TV. Bender as usual was drinking a beer as well as smoking a cigar.

“Hey big boots, where’s the other meat bag?” he said, letting out a flaming belch.

Leela glared at him and said, “Well he went to his locker to get something and he’ll back.”

About ten minutes later, Fry came entered the lounge, wearing the dress-white uniform that he got. The nametag on the right bore the name ‘FRY’ and on the left breast was the standard ‘fruit salad’. He also had on a matching hat as well as his Purple Hart and Bronze Star. Leela, Amy, and Bender were amazed at how good Fry looked in his uniform.

“Fry, you look immaculate. How does everything fit?” Leela said

“Splesh Fry, I you’re making me jealous of Leela.” Amy said,

“Fry, your making me emotional damnit!” Bender said

through this exchange Fry was just grinning at himself.

“Thanks guys, glad you like it. This is what I’m wearing at the wedding. And it all fits, even that hat Leela.” Fry said.
