i was thinking about doing a model of the PE building in the architecture program Revit Archietecture 2008. anyone have any ideas on room sizes/locations etc. and also i was wondering if it is ever mentioned on how they reach the upstairs lab, ie using a stair case/elevator.

Wasn't the Manditorium just the conference room?

The Angry Dome only exists when someone needs it using a little-known artefact of quantum mechanics known as the Angry Observer Boundary Effect. In simple terms you could think of it as a modification of Schroedinger's Cat, the thought experiment designed to try and explain quantum mechanics in layman's terms, only this has a more real-world application. The Dome is designed in such a way that it is outside the observer's boundary of effect, or what they can observe, for as long as they aren't angry; it exists in a quantum superposition of both having and not having substance. When someone becomes angry the extra heat energy radiated by their brain creates a quantum eddy that collapses the Angry Dome's waveform into a state where it is visible and exists.  Reducing your anger returns it to the superposition, making it effectively invisible.

So that's why it's not there.  :)

Unfortunately, I think you're on your own Hammer0087.  I don't recall anyone doing a cross-section of planet express before.  The ship on the other hand... Forget about it.

I think I once made rooms for the inside of planet express in an rpg, but I didn't pay much attention to detail, and just added a couple of rooms where necessary.

Was that the Fryscape thing from 2005? It's a shame that fell through it looked like it could've turned out pretty good.

PS: Your link doesn't work.   :nono:

Ummm... it (the link) still works for me.  It's ANSTATMAW (Ain't No Such Thing As Too Much Amy Wong), an old site, that also houses another site dedicated to the layout of the PE Ship.

And no... I wasn't talking about Fryscape, although that was a sweet project, I hope Idan is still alive...  I was working independantly on something like an 8-bit style futurama rpg about 3 or 4 years ago using an engine somebody else created... it was similar in style to earlier Final Fantasty games with the random battles and whatnot... I was basically making stuff up as I went along, and it had a few neat things, but I lost fuel and didn't finish it.  At this point, I probably won't finish it (probably), because some of the scripting files are MIA and they were pretty integral to plot progression and various processes working in the background.

Anyways, if you're at all interested:  http://www.ssfuturama.cz/info/underconst/under_dboy.php

That's not going to help anybody with the layout of Planet Express though....

I figured it was a link to the ANSTATMAW blueprints when I saw geocities in the address I was just saying the link wasn't working when I clicked on it. Works now though.

All of it does. They open the back door a few times and it's level with the ground.

Front/main door is at ground level and faces the dead end street:

I guess the front door must be one of those "magic" doors, because I remember that stoop door facing the street (since the crew gets up and eventually tips Bender onto his back next to the road), yet I don't see the stoop at all in that image above....

They either added the stairs.... got rid of the stairs... or added the stairs then got rid of them...

I say it's the front door.

Yeah it just randomly appears for that one scene. Like the cafè across the street in Parasites Lost that disapears never to be seen again.

Animation doesn't take continuity very seriously.

Most likely the script called for the PE crew to be lounging on some stairs outside the building, and that's what got drawn.

I remember the comics doing something vaguely similar to this; you could use that if you do the interior.

I made a decent floor plan in The Sims 3. The building is actually pretty massive.
