Looking for beta-readers.

Like the title says, I'm looking for a few beta-readers to help me look over my new fic. It's called 'Shots Fired', and what it lacks in length, it makes up for in power. (At least, that's my opinion.) 

Any takers?

What exactly does a beta do? Isn't it just like fixing mistakes and what not? If so yeah I could probably do a little.

That's pretty much what they do. Fixing mistakes, typos, maybe suggesting a line here or there. Mostly they get to read stuff before anyone else, which is sometimes great.

@Archonix: Thanks. Just making sure that I wasn't getting confused.

THM: I got the email with the story. As soon as I can see straight fucking migraine and have all my school work in and done I'll get right on it. It might be in a different format than what you sent it as but still the same thing. So I'm thinking by mid to late next week at the earliest unless I have time this weekend and depending on my homework load, and college application crapola.

No problem at all, man. Like I told Archonix, there isn't a huge rush - for instance, I haven't even begun to decide what sites I'm going to submit the final version to. That's something else with beta-reading; it isn't a paying proposition, so when you send something out, flexibility is key. Whenever you're ready is fine with me. Here's hoping your migraine takes a hike soon, and good luck with school stuff.

I'm not here to offer my services as a Beta reader.. oh no.. you woulnd't want me as a Beta.

I am, however, here to vouch for solyentOrange. He does all my beta reading and if it hadn't been for him my work would much more resemble the inane writings of a mad monkey.
